  1. Hey guys, I am looking for a bit of script that will tell me the amount of unread emails in thier inbox for the logged in user. I would like it to display on a our schools secure area. We are using exchange owa 2007 and the login's are the same as thier email alias/login. Any direction would be much apprieciated, Cheers
  2. I didn't think the DNS cache affected webpages? As a windows and IE7 you can do a refresh F5 or a forced refreshed with clears the cache (Ctrl + F5). On safari I don't know - sorry!
  3. Ah ha, you legend. This reminds me of my contact form, I thought I would have to specify a crazy if statement like if 1=1 mail(blahblah etc) for the variables to run but I didn't, they run automaticly. I'm guessing the braces seperate the attribute to run seperatly with the else. Well thank you sir, not only did I get the answer but I'm also learnded Much Love Bobby
  4. Many thanks for your reply connectu but unfortunatly I need the directory to display at least once. I am using this as a photo album so the test folder will eventually be the subjects of the photos. Your reply did spark the ol' noddle though and thought the only other file would be jpg and came up with the following. Let me know your ideas EDIT: only been playing around with php in the last week or so, so bare with me $files = getFiles($folder); foreach ($files as $file) { if(strip_ext($file[name])!='.php'){ $image = $img_file; if($file[type]=='dir') { $image = $img_folder; $cmd='?dir='.$prev.$file[name].'/'; echo "<a href=\"$cmd\" title=\"$file[type], $file[sizetext]\"><img src=\"$image\" /> $file[name]</a> <br/>"; }// if the element is a directory else $cmd=$prev.$file[name]; if($file[type]=='jpg') { echo "<a rel=\"shadowbox\" href=\"$cmd\" title=\"$file[type], $file[sizetext]\"><img src=\"$image\" /> $file[name]</a> <br/>"; } else echo "file not supported <br>"; }//if strip_ext }//foreach
  5. I was approched by a charity to create a website and I'm sure you have experianced with a lot of your clientel that the end user has far less IT knowledge than yourself. I was looking for a CMS solution that would intergrate with my excisting webpage and after a lot of searching I thought I would share the love. http://www.lemoncms.com/ This is a great tool is easier to install than sleeping with an essex girl. YES, that easy! You have one php file. Upload it Enter the URL AND YOUR DONE! It's not the most complex tool in the world and that's what makes it totally awesome. There is also a demo on thier site if you fancy it. Much love Bobby
  6. Hey guys, Basically I am trying to open to merge two lots of open source code. The first is a tool called shadow box and the other is some php display directory. Please view www.feltham-bees.co.uk/photos/pictures.php to have a gander! My first issue was that the shadowbox was appearing for all links including directories. I have now fixed that but have two folders appear in the directory because of the echo me thinks. I was wondering if any of you chaps could point me in the right direction. Always much love Bobby
  7. This problem has been bugging me for quite a while and was wondering if any one could help. Previously in photoshop to get a reflection effect i have copied the layer, flipped it and applied a gradiant to the bottom half to what ever the background colour was. *SEE ATTACHED* Now my question is how do i get a gradiant on a clear background? The only possible options i have had is: - smudge it to fade -rubber it but these boths give poor results, can any one point me in the right direction or another program that may help? Many thanks Bobby
  8. found it lads don't worry you can't change it for the iframe you have to do it for the pages appearing in the scroll frame firstly change the html type <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN”> <html> then enter a similar style <STYLE type="text/css"> <!-- BODY { scrollbar-face-color: #880121; scrollbar-highlight-color: #560014; scrollbar-3dlight-color: #707070; scrollbar-darkshadow-color: #000000; scrollbar-shadow-color: #3b000e; scrollbar-arrow-color: #000000; scrollbar-track-color: #ffffff; } --> </STYLE> Sharing the love <3
  9. It is best to use DIV's imo, means there is more stability for resizing of the page. As for your content in dreamweaver, if you have sliced it properly your content box should be one slice. When you are in dreamweaver you can delete the image/slice and it becomes editablle. Change the bg colour and valign and your done. I would advice looking into css and divs though. Cheers bobby
  10. Hey guys, Been a while since i've posted, since then become a bit more fluent with css, html and div layers. Alot down to you guys thanks a lot! I have a website i'm doing and want to change the scroll bar colour of the iframe and not the whole page. I have given my iframe an ID and set the colours in the CSS but it doesn't work. If i put the tags into the body of the css it works for the whole page but not the iframe? Any work around would be greatly appreiciated bobby moore www.feltham-bees.co.uk/homepage.html if you wan't to have a look EDIT: "works for the whole page but not the iframe?"

Any help guys would be much apprieciated. Cheers

    I'm guessing the general jist of it is that the email is in an external file so that spam bots cannot pick it up. Is there a simplier way off having your email in an external file then importing it in? Cheers
