December 9, 200718 yr I want to learn how to get started making nice looking layouts in photoshop. I have CS2. I'm getting tired of having to delay things because I need to pay someone to make a layout for me. So, any help would be appreciated!
December 9, 200718 yr Are you short on time? Have you thought of looking at existing templates such as the ones on templatemonster.com?
December 9, 200718 yr Author I'd rather learn how to do it on my own. It's much more satisfying than using something you got for free.
December 9, 200718 yr Hi, Why dont you have a go at some tutorials 1st and then when your ready move on the somthing of your own. Check out come of these tutorials: http://www.good-tutorials.com/tutorials/ph...hop/web-layouts
December 13, 200718 yr Personally, I bought sitepoint's book the photoshop anthology which helped no end. It really did boost my ability to rip designs up in photoshop. However, Adobe In-Design is supposed to be the package for this task. I find that doing certain things in photoshop is long winded - but then i'm barely a year into my own photoshop expertise so I can imagine i'm doing things in a round-about way. Still, if anyone here uses in-design i'd love to know what you think about it for designing websites.
