Photoshop Gradiant Help

Featured Replies

This problem has been bugging me for quite a while and was wondering if any one could help.

Previously in photoshop to get a reflection effect i have copied the layer, flipped it and applied a gradiant to the bottom half to what ever the background colour was. *SEE ATTACHED*

Now my question is how do i get a gradiant on a clear background? The only possible options i have had is:

- smudge it to fade

-rubber it

but these boths give poor results, can any one point me in the right direction or another program that may help?

Many thanks

Bobby

if your saying what I think you are saying lol follow these steps and you should end up with an image fading into a transparent background.
