November 11, 200817 yr This problem has been bugging me for quite a while and was wondering if any one could help. Previously in photoshop to get a reflection effect i have copied the layer, flipped it and applied a gradiant to the bottom half to what ever the background colour was. *SEE ATTACHED* Now my question is how do i get a gradiant on a clear background? The only possible options i have had is: - smudge it to fade -rubber it but these boths give poor results, can any one point me in the right direction or another program that may help? Many thanks Bobby
November 11, 200817 yr if your saying what I think you are saying lol follow these steps and you should end up with an image fading into a transparent background. www.dotnetwizard.net/tutorials/how-to-create-a-transparent-gradient-in-photoshop-cs3/
