I was approched by a charity to create a website and I'm sure you have experianced with a lot of your clientel that the end user has far less IT knowledge than yourself.

I was looking for a CMS solution that would intergrate with my excisting webpage and after a lot of searching I thought I would share the love.

This is a great tool is easier to install than sleeping with an essex girl. YES, that easy! You have one php file.

• Upload it

• Enter the URL

• AND YOUR DONE!

It's not the most complex tool in the world and that's what makes it totally awesome. There is also a demo on thier site if you fancy it.

Much love

Bobby

I've been checking out some really basic CMS solutions too. I'm been messing about with the demo of CushyCMS.

They're a really nice alternative to having a massive system behind a website that doesn't really require one. It really reduces the work on our end. I was actually going to suggest CushyCMS as well, but Sam beat me to it; watch the video on the CushyCMS website to see how simple it is.

I am looking at a simple cms to use on a low budget project also, however is the code produced by these free web based cms systems seo friendly?

Also does anyone know any other good free simple ones like the above, have been looking around and found instant update which looks good but there is a license fee.

Hi

cmsfromscratch is worth a look.

Pat

visual edit from active campaign. com

It allows company groupings with individual logins restricted to certain directories etc. Allows editing of virtually any file in its wysiwyg interface.

You can have one login page for ALL clients - ie edit.yourdomain.com and it allows them to make changes to their websites.

Well worth a look.
