Rounded Corners + Drop shadow with CSS
With rounded corners and box shadow, at the moment with Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari you can use pure CSS to create what you want. Simple as -webkit-boxshadow -moz-box-shadow. For the older browsers (IE6) and current IE versions you will need to find possibly a javascript/css or JQuery solution. Google around along those lines!!

New Client Pricing
Hello Members, I have been commissioned for a project and wanted to get some point of views on how much to charge. Project Description: 8 Page Website, incorporating video playback, audio player, blog, recent news section. This needs to be backed up with good CMS they can use to change the music, videos, news and content etc. They also wish to have a basic store format to sell t-shirts, cd's etc.? I was thinking ModX for the CMS (Opinions?) and basic paypal google checkout integration (Opinion?) The guys are acquaintances so a 'mates rates' discount would apply! So how much do you think??

Validation Problems
Could you ever imagine that!!! I've been googling for about 20 mins!! +1 to you mate cheers! Whilst I can pick your brains?!? How would you code a whole div to be a link? I tried <a href="#"><div> </div></a> but it wont validate. I understand div is block level element and <a> is inline element! I was thinking javascript, but then rehthinking that if user does not have js enabled?

Website Feedback
Personally I would speed up the transitions between the images in the slideshow. Also I would make the navigation more prominent (perhaps at the top) make it larger, clearer etc. Also enlarge the contact us link, it is not very noticeable in the top right corner. I would perhaps add an effect to the three buttons on the right to indicate an action and alter the orange text to make it more bolder, contrasted. But thats just me.... what do I know?!!

Validation Problems
Hi guys, been redeveloping my website as extra practice and now am running it through the validator at the W3C. My issue I'm not quite getting is with my contact form this issue is in bold: Heres what it says: Line 2, Column 4559: document type does not allow element "label" here; missing one of "p", "h1", "h2", "h3", "h4", "h5", "h6", "div", "pre", "address", "fieldset", "ins", "del" start-tag ….php" id="contact"><label for="Name">Name:</label><input type="text" name="na ✉ The mentioned element is not allowed to appear in the context in which you've placed it; the other mentioned elements are the only ones that are both allowed there and can contain the element mentioned. This might mean that you need a containing element, or possibly that you've forgotten to close a previous element. One possible cause for this message is that you have attempted to put a block-level element (such as "<p>" or "<table>") inside an inline element (such as "<a>", "<span>", or "<font>"). Any advice appreciated!

Contact Form Styling
I'd say from scratch, seeing as its tables!

Need help with cross-browser issue
More than likely an IE box model issue perhaps? or maybe set the two images to (float: left) making sure the width obviously is not wider than your wrap. Just a thought as it is late...

Sifr Cufon or @fontface?
When you talk of cross browser compatibility, what issues do you mean? I have been reading of a specific IE issue (.EOT file types) which would be anticipated given IE's track record, but what issues have you come across. At present I am redesigning my portfolio and have been getting some stick with the fonts not being replaced on other computers!! Just going through the motions I suppose!! Any tips?

Sifr Cufon or @fontface?
Just wanted to get some opinions from some of the pros on WDF. In your opinion, which technique do you think is the best for general use (Headings). I have been doing some reading up on all three and I know there are other alternatives, just wanted to get some second opinions on which is the way to go!
