Rounded Corners + Drop shadow with CSS

Featured Replies

I want to create a content area on my site that includes rounded corners and a drop shadow. I want it so that the content area constantly expands when new content is entered into the div tag I'm hoping that you guys know how to do this using css. If it's possible would you guys also know how to make it appear "ok" in IE6.

Thanks in advance guys.

With rounded corners and box shadow, at the moment with Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari you can use pure CSS to create what you want.

Simple as -webkit-boxshadow -moz-box-shadow.

For the older browsers (IE6) and current IE versions you will need to find possibly a javascript/css or JQuery solution. Google around along those lines!!

How would I implement this into say a div tag to create an ever expanding content area. Any help here?

Thanks for the reply man! I just figured out how to use "-moz-border-radius" and "-webkit-border-radius" to round the corners of the main content are on my site and how to use "-webkit-boxshadow" to add a shadow to the content area. Thanks for the help. I really do appreciate it! :drinks:
