If you can get everybody in the uni to contribute that will give you something useful to begin with. But there are already thousands of resource where people share ideas so you may struggle to get anybody outside your circle of friends to join - especially as there is very little content.

 

It's also worth noting that the site only scores 35/100 on the Googpe page speed test - so you need to do some work if this is a course project.
