Content Sleuth: Social Media Automation, Analytics & Outreach fro Content Marketers

Featured Replies

Hey Folks,

Just pre-launched our website to promote our new SaaS application called Content Sleuth. What do you folks think about the design/layout/style?

It's a social media and content marketing platform.

Appreciate the feedback. Thanks.

First test I do for any site is to check how it works on a phone.

And it's not too good. The huuuuge font size and massively long scrolling homepage make it awkward. By the time I got to the bottom I no longer knew what you were offering and the content seems to wander all over the place.

The hamburger menu stays on screen. I clicked on the 'who made it' and the menu filled 50% of the screen, the bottom 10% was the SM icons leaving just 40% for the image of Nick.

I don't use these sort of automated services so I can't comment on the product. I did look for a demo but there doesn't appear to be one.

What did really p*** me off was the invite that filled the screen as soon as I landed. It might be a winning highly converting technique but it put me right off. Returning to the site later I got another invite I needed to close so I could get to the content.

It says: "Social Media Automation, Analytics, and Outreach for Content Marketers"

And then it says: "Content Marketers, Inbound Marketers and SEO's who want a better solution..."

Maybe it's me but they don't appear to be the same thing. Is it SM Automation, Inbound Marketing and SEO? Or is it a mix of all three? The screenshots don't seem to cover all three.

The logo doesn't take me back to the top of the page. The blog is just a single post. And I get another annoying popup asking me send you my email address.

The site doesn't sell the product. It's full of buzzwords and marketing waffle but all I see another hootsuite or buffer. Unless I can see what's on offer I'd not be interested in moving to a new product. Especially as you don't even tell me how much it's going to cost.
