Thanks again @@Nillervision and @@rbrtsmith for your encouragement :)

Here's a little preview of what I have so far.

What do you think so far? I haven't done any lettering work before, so I'd love to hear your thoughts and tips!

Very creative, although I have no real knowldge of typefaces so it's difficult for me to form any opinion - I'll leave that to some of the more knowledgeable folk on here. I'm sure it's a great learning experience for you, over time you'll create some great typefaces based on your previous design work.

Awesome display type. Especially suitable for print I think. The grotesque contrast in stroke width really gives the font character. But The thin strokes could be hard to see on some mobile phones if displayed with normal heading sizes. Maybe you should consider a variant with a little more weight on the thin strokes.

Thank so much everyone :)

@@NOCK and @Nillervison, you're both right, small sizes won't look as good. I'll try adding a stroke weight, although that may destroy its character.

Perhaps the font should be used for huge headlines and decorative purposes only (as Nillervision pointed out, in print). I don't think it will work so well on the web. I also can't imagine what its lowercase letters will look like, maybe once I continue work on it, I'll get a better idea :)

I haven't had the time to work on my font much, but here's a preview of all uppercase letters. Haven't got to doing the numbers, symbols or lowercase yet. Not too keen on B, E and F, could do with some improvements imo.

Hope you like it :)

I looks great, although I'd increase the thin stroke just a tad, it can be hard to read for those without perfect eyesight - i.e. me :D

don't forget ä,ö,å and the other nordic characters otherwise me and rbtsmith can't use it :)

Here are the Danish variants:

Ææ Øø Åå

I will be very disappointed if you leave these out @@teodora ;)

BTW I love your "O" and "Q"

Thanks guys :)

Seems like I need to work on the stroke width :D

I completely forgot about those characters... is there a list I can find with all of them?

Edit: Of course, the ASCII table http://www.ascii-code.com/

Amazing stuff! what is the name of the font ?

Teodorable? <-- I'm actually quite proud of that one :) haha

Ha, ha, thanks James :D

Perhaps it needs to say "XXXX display", that's descriptive.

Catscript

Kittyscript display? :D

Ooh, Drama display sounds pretty good :) The font is dramatic itself, due to the huge difference in stroke, so it sounds like a good name.
