I have been working on a new logo, I have only one to show today but would like your opinions and ideas please

 

The logo concept is communication, as the company is named mention design, I used the rounded shape because I like the idea of free movement to show flexibility in design with an infinite number of possible concepts, the font is fluid, like the logo to continue on that air of fluid thinking, please tell me what you think.

 

I would also like you thoughts on the font too please

Thanks.. Looks like I will have to do more font experimentation than I thought.

As you know, I'm no design expert but thought my view as an 'outsider' may be useful for you. It looks to me as though the thin pointy ends are too thin. It looks fine on a large screen in hi res, but a logo needs to work in all formats. In low res, or in low quality print, the very thin parts of the image would look pixelated and grainy.

 

Edit, I don't even know if pixelated, grainy, or pointy ends are approved design terms, but I'm sure you get my point.

I personally don't like the font, something more cleaner and crisp would certainly work well.

It really depends on what feel you want..

Looking good. i like it. cant you put some colors in it ? try some color i mught look better then this.
