So if you look at my logo I have these white dots on the edges. They aren't visible at first but when you zoom in they are. I was wondering how I could get rid of these, i've tried select by color but it seems to select other parts of the logo which I don't want it to.

 

It's OK when you're zoomed out but when you're zoomed in it looks horrible.

 

I'm using GIMP by the way.

 

Can you give me any feedback to what else I need to improve also?

Not sure how it's done in GIMP, seems to me like you need to play with the anti-aliasing settings.
