GIMP version 3.0.6 is on the way.

Featured Replies

Dear Community,

GIMP version 3.0.6 is on the way.  It is evident from the Milestone / GitLab that 3.0.6 already exists as a milestone and has been completed.

This release introduces a new toggle in the Brushes and Fonts dialogs to allow brush and font previews to optionally follow the color theme.

GIMP 3.0.4 is currently still listed as the stable version on the official GIMP download page. The release notes page also only goes up to 3.0.4 so far. The fact that the GitLab milestone 3.0.6 (see link above) already exists and is completed strongly suggests that the release has already been finalized internally. It is likely that in the next few days or weeks mirror servers, distributions (e.g., Flatpak, Snap, Linux repositories), and GIMP.org itself will be updated to make 3.0.6 widely available.
