I'm thinking to copy/paste my original content to forums and adding a link to original post on my blog to get some traffic means if people like the forum thread they will like to see the original post .

 

I'm asking if you are thinking this is a spam and duplicate according to google and if this will hurt my website ??

Its better not to use it.. i am not sure whether it would have an affect but as far as i know duplicate/copied content are considered to be spam as per google updates.

Copying the whole or part of the post here would be making it duplicate content and even though you are linking to the source it is difficult for google and it can be considered duplicate content which would do more harm to than good.

 

If you want to get readers to your blog then posting a gist of the post with the link to the original post is the right way to go about it.

The forum links do rank in Google Search Results which generates traffic to the both thread and site, Copying exactly same content will not bring any Good to the site, As the forum post will not rank in Google because of content duplication and will not bring anything good to your site.

Hmm I'd say it's possible but look into microdata. If you consider a manufacturers description for a product, most comparison sites will have the same content. If you added some unique content introducing the post then it should be fine with clear citation indicators, if however you just want to copy the content and dump it on your site then probably safer to do a list of articles (post) with exert of the post and a link to the source.

Copy past of text is not a good option. Better you alter or make some changes in the content.

don't try to do this. You can link to your blog from forum website using anchor text. This will really help you to boost the ranking for that keyword too.

As long as it is not adding any value to the reader, I think Google will eventually find it. Google is much advanced now to detect spam. Better not to do it.

always use unique content, there is tools you can get,software that are free and paid where it spins articles for you, i would reccomend you write everything unique, ive been in the SEO industry every day for 11 years professionlly its better you keep unqiue and then just leave any copy/paste content too emails, get them signed upto an email list then email them the copy'd content

 

 

If you are worried about duplicated content detection, why don't you just spin your Spin your original content and edit it. That should work for you!

Why do not you try to create fresh content for this to avoid duplicate content issue.

Its a wronge idea about copy/paste, Kindly dont do copy/paste you should have unique contents for Forums and Blog posting and for each and every step in off page work.

You're using forums wrong. You should be commenting, helping people, answering questions. If you've answered that question already on your site, then link to it, but don't just join a forum and start spamming content. Get involved in the community and help others and you'll benefit from more than just a boost in rankings.

Dont copy paste the content because according to panda update low quality content website is penalized.

Well Don't do copy paste it will effect your website.

I believe you should try to participate in forum discussions not only to promote your website, but also to help people, encourage them and answer their questions to the best of your knowledge. On each forum in time you get to place your website address in your signature and that's the best way to promote I'd say.

Not to bring up and old post but what is your favorite tool to submit rss feed for a blog to search engines for indexing? Is Outbrain a good tool or does it (or this technique) cause a penalty with Panda?

don't ever copy n paste content from any site. when google crawler chk it and finds it copied then it send panda penality to modify ur content. and then ur sites are not ranked temporally.
