Feedback needed for landing page layout

Featured Replies

Hi guys

I'm looking to get some feedback on a landing page I'm working on. The company it's for is a printing and print management company that are looking to extend their client base in neighbouring towns. The landing pages will be focused on certain location/product pairings (for instance 'Leaflet printing' in 'Townsville').

Here is a graphic mockup of the layout:

The content is just filler at the moment. I'm looking for feedback on the structure and advice on possible improvements to it. Here's the thinking behind the current layout:

Section 1

  • Large clear headline
  • Short piece of text underneath
  • Bold, clear graphic to the right
  • Call to action (Link to relevant product page and also a phone number)

Section 2

  • Simple 4 piece graphic reinforcing key selling points (as with all other areas the text needs to be changed)
  • An illustrated map showing a representation of the target town and one of our base town. Arrow and text to reinforce "Free Delivery Daily"

Section 3

  • Offers - A demonstration of our prices. Each of which can be clicked to go directly to a product page with the options shown selected.

Section 4

  • Additional text to explain and reinforce message. Opportunities for more keyword placement
  • A graphic showing the company mascot introducing the testimonials section below

Section 5

  • Testimonials - Each has headline, text, a clickable thumbnail that expands to a full size image, client name, client company, photo of client holding the item.

Section 6

  • Call to action repeated.

Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated.

Cheers,
Chris

Hey Chris, it's looking good so far. Nice and clean and to the point.

Obviously it's very much placeholder content for now so I can't really comment on that. The only suggestion I have is with regards to section 4. It's a bit plain in terms of the typography. I almost feel as though the second block of text ("Buy online, pop in for a chat…") could use a solid box or something around it to add a bit of interest, though this could clash with the illustration.

Either way, I'd be tempted to pop in another CTA banner in there to encourage some clicks/calls after all those juicy offers.

Hi Paul

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, it is a bit plain in that section and an extra call to action sounds like a good idea. Cheers.

Does anyone else have any feedback/suggestions they could offer?

Cheers,
Chris

Looking good, I have a suggestion about the title "premium quality printing in townsville at fantastic prices" change it to simply "quality printing in townsville" that way your audience can see what it is they do and where they are easier straight away.

He is looking for feedback on the design and structure, the content is a filler. :p

Still always useful to be reminded of silly things like that, I think the font and the length of text would be part of the design, not nessersarily just the words themselves ;-)
