Hi People,

Baring in mind I'm a website developer and have been for about a year and a half now, I'm still learning my website design. I've had a client asked me to create a design of your own choice, keep it professional and clean. So I went ahead and mocked up to versions of the same theme, I'm not sure whether to stick with this theme or ditch it?

Bare in mind these are pretty rough copies.

There is a light and dark theme

Any feedback welcome :)

Thanks.

I'd stick with them and build upon them further. Not sure about the border under the three images - will there be a headline placed within? If it's a horizontal rule as is, I'd recommended reducing the width.

I prefer the first image with the lighter background - nothing constructive to say other than preference. Perhaps you could reduce the length of the text as the lines are a little long. You could give a max-width to the text to accommodate reasonable reading lengths of say 75 characters or so. Give or take. Also, you could increase the line height slightly and perhaps use another font. You don't have to of course, just my preference. What's more important, is what your client thinks. You'd be surprised (or not!) what hits their buttons as opposed to our opinions ;)

Thank-you for your response, I'll take it on-board and see where it goes.

The thing with the orange rectangle is I'm thinking about doing something there maybe to break the page up a little? Maybe like how there service works or something like that.

I agree with 4li4s, and would just add that maybe a bit more white space above the 'Who are we' header could help as well. Which would mean balancing the white space in the main site header, and a couple of other places to match this new spacing.

Just a quick update - I've made a few changes, removed the orange line, changed the font family, Changed the Copyright background colour, Made the text width smaller, But now I need something to go there? Was thinking something along the lines of "Why choose us?" section.

Thank-you for the feedback anyway :)

I really don't like the gap between the banner images and the repair works images. Their is very less space between both of them. You need to make it more attractive.

Their is nothing in your website that make it attractive. I know you already said its a rough print but this would be my suggestions for you for your future works.

I'm not the best designer I know that aha :) I'm that guy that does the coding side of things!

But I have updated the template, while coding, cause I find working with the design as I code is easier.

I need some ideas for what I can do for the header because even in my opinion it looks a bit bland, any help would be welcome.
