*NEW* Copywriting Section

Featured Replies

We are are proud to announce the addition of the copywriting section. So if you want any copy for your site to be reviewed then this is the new place to post it in. Also if you are wondering where the great copy corner articles written by wizely have gone to, they have been moved to this section and divided into sections :)

So happy writing and enjoy the new section

Oh fantastic! Section has been deserved for some time now, great to see it recognized!

Excellent news! I noticed this section the other day but it's great to hear it's fully open for business.

I was wondering if the copy corner articles should be put in a sub-form / stickied in the correct order maybe?

There will be a copy corner index that is stickied to the top of the section along with a couple of other things :) I think that once the copy corner gets more articles it would be a case of too many stickies in the forum, so one thread with links to all the articles should work better :)

Oh bum! Guess I'm going to be busy! ;)

It's great that WDF has embraced copy - it'll give you guys an edge over those lesser forums!!!!

I'll be putting plenty of threads in there and doing some housekeeping over the next couple of days to help you all make the most of it. See you in there!

Thanks to Ben, Dizi and Eris who continue to make WDF the greatest forum ever!

:D

I'd like to know why the main copy guy on this forum (wizely) can't spell the word wisely and why he didn't bother to capitalise the W :pp. You know I'm only kidding, should be a useful new section though!

wow that's great! any chance of getting the "copy corner" editions pinned so we don't have to hunt them down every time once the forum fills up?

nice to see the forum expanding.

If you check out the pinned thread in the copywriting section you'll find that it has an index of all the Copy Corner posts.

I was hoping that the Copy Corner wouldn't just be a 'copy and paste' and use kind of section - as Rob says, there is an index in the pinned Welcome Section. I'm not sure I would welcome making it even easier to lift the content without engaging - it is a forum not a book!

:pp

It is a forum not a book!

For now! ;)

Why is it hidden inside Web Design and layout? Might be easier to find if you move it up one level

I'm always trying to find it in the main categories, I always find it by going through the sticky in the forum news section.

I have posted a topic on this issue somewhere..!

I think it is a very smart move and one that will help a lot of people.

This is great news! Thanks for creating this section. Other web forums don't have a copywriting section for variety.

*cough*

There are others... for example Sitepoint interestingly puts "content for your site" (which has 4 sub-forums including blogging and content writing) as the first forum (after latest news) and before design! :D
