I like your logo.

 

Pictures in slider aren't attractive.

 

If you're designer you should create good website for youself.

looks alright... you really need to fix the picture in your slider... low quality and they are all cut off in the wrong places

I would echo others thoughts hear in regards using a template for a web design website.

 

Not being a web designer myself I often use templates to create sites, especially in the first instance. This way I can test an idea to see if it works before investing in a custom design that will serve me better going forward. Once I have something that works I always bring in a professional designer as it brings far better results regards branding etc.

 

But I think as a web designer you really have to showcase your work without the use of non-custom templates. When I look for web designers I always check as to whether they are using an off the shelf template for their own site. I simply wouldn't pay for someone to just customise a template when I could easily do that myself. Whilst you may not do that if I approached you to design a site for me the impression is there that you would.

 

I'm probably being a bit of a hypocrite here as my most successful site is still using a template... I wonder where I can find a decent web designer

It looks ok to me, but then maybe that's because it might be a template design (I don't know).

 

2 things really, the slider images don't look great, low-res and I think they need a border.

 

Second would be the text just under the slider, you have live grey text sitting on a brown background, I just feel that doesn't go, either white or even a light brown.

 

Part from that could be a lot worse.

 

Edit: Uh ok I know what's going on with the slider they are just filler images.

was just about to say it looks a bit templaty....not in a bad way tho if you created this yourself, good site if not... hmm don't use templates as a proffessional webdesigner, gives the others a bad name, cause somehow common folks got it stuck in their heads that our jobs are soooo easy that we just have a magical button that says "create website" and we're done and it's really hard explaining to my clients that it does not work like that. and templates are NOT helping my case

What everyone else has said: eat your own dogfood.

images are too big and low quality... the strip of color at the top of the website is a bit out of place. you should also make the image area a little smaller, it fills up my entire screen

Why do people even bother asking for reviews on templates?

 

It's like asking for us to check your spelling, that's all it amounts to.

We don;t review other people templates here.
