  1. like others have mentioned use google to research restaurants in the area you live in. Sometimes the locals tend to have unique websites where you may get inspired.
  2. looks really good! Very clean.. definitely looks like a hosting site as Mike mentioned. Really good i really cant find anything to criticize... keep up the good work!
  3. looks good! and it does what its supposed to do lol... good luck remembering that password lol
  4. You need to make it more eye catchy... put it this way if you are searching for a palce to eat online... unless you see something that would make you eat the screen... chance are you are going to go on to the next website... Keep that in mind when creating a site for food... people want to see images... colours that are easy and it has to be user friendly and easy to navigate... not as much content and high quality pics.
  5. The design is not bad, but its never going to be what it was...
  6. Hi, I really like your site, and your idea! Wish you the best!
  7. Its pretty good overall... the only thing i would change is the black background
  8. I like it, but it seems to plain, nothing is catching my attention.
  9. What i'm going to say may be a little harsh, but your logo gives me the impression that this website is about a sandwhich store. That's what i originally thought when i saw the link on your post. I didnt read your entire post, but as far as branding goes i think you got it completely wrong. In regards to the design, it's clean but maybe a little too clean. I'm not a big fan of little boxes with content. I think you need to get rid of that and come up with a full page design, especially if you are going to run a blog. To sum it all up the user friendliness is not there, navigation is not there. It's a start but you have a lot of work.
  10. It looks good overall.. i mean the design isn't really welcoming or warm. That background needs to go i think. I dont know if i would contact you, not because your website is ugly, but because i feel like there's isn't much info about your service, and your contact form is hard to find.
  11. never thought of searching like that. I have a subscription to photos.com I find it's very cheap and on the plan i have i get 100 photos a week. They also have a great selection
  12. what other strategies can be used in regards to driving traffic to a blog? I have a web designing portfolio, where i also have a blog section. How can i get users to interact with my blog and start getting feedback and comments? you can check out my blog at nowhere.com I've tried reddit, but that community is so hard to get into lol people take everything as spam thanks everyone
  13. i'm currently working on 3 website project. One is a shopping cart which is about 80% complete, ill show you final product once its live. Another website is just an informative corporate website, and the third one which i have yet to start is for a pckaging company who needs a more global appearance. Except we haven't got past the contract signing yet from making a million changes lol
  14. i had a feeling looks good!
  15. very elegant! perfect design for the business. One thing i'd change is the main header font... try to keep it as elegant as the web design concept and you got my 10/10
  16. hi! I really like it! Is it supposed to scroll down itself when you click on a menu link? really cool!
  17. looks alright i guess... but for some reason something doesn't feel right. I'll let you know what, once i figure it out myself lol
  18. awesome! I really like how simple and unique it is. As other users have mentioned there are a few things to fix here and there, but overall it looks good!
  19. looks good.. i think you need to work on your colours a bit.. something doesnt feel right. Also, your background image is just a picture and doesn't cover the entire background depending on the resolution. I have quite some space left on the right side. Good attempt overall
  20. i like it! It's simple and clean and it does the job.
  21. looks alright... you really need to fix the picture in your slider... low quality and they are all cut off in the wrong places
  22. i also agree it seems that everything is just oversized...
  23. thank you all for the great feedback. I understand and you are all right. Once i finish this big project i'm working on... my website is next! Thanks
  24. i appreciate the good words! I know i've been thinking about that myself.. i'm just so busy i dont have the time to pay attention to my own.. But thats definitely the next step. Thanks again!
  25. yes you are right... and as you can see in my portfolio... i did not use templates for most of my work. I have clients that approach me with a template and want to use it and have already bought it or ask me to buy it... therefore i'm not trying to sell templates that other people have created.
