New Website design

Hi Adam,

Great design and nice sliders :) Really like the feel of the website.

Only one negative, not sure if its a mistake or your still working on the design but the image in the background still has istock photo's watermark.

Other than that, I think your design gives a good feel overall

site looks great love the user interface of your website. Agreed @ayoungh that you do not want a big stock photo sign at the bottom of your website.

My guess would be copied it off Google, didn't know how to remove it without messing up the cartoon. Although I might be wrong.

Other than that I really like it, too. I spent like 10 seconds sliding the sliders up and down going "Oooohhh" ^_^

Hi,

Really like the design, though I've just done a test application and the email you receive simply says, your 'Hi Your Name,' and that is all.

Plus it says instant decision but that's not the case as after applying it tells you an advisor will call you.

Cheers

Gareth

I really like the overall look of your site, I think it's very appealing and you're sending a very positive message to the viewer. Being the perfectionist that I am, there are a few things I would change, though:

Firstly, make the "Apply now" buttons CSS styled buttons, not plain images. It looks a little more professional, and you can use a 1px wide gradient img, corner rounding and border in CSS to reduce load times. The images you're using now frankly look poorly compressed.

Secondly, I'm a sucker for the iTunes-style sliders, but 1px of them is getting cut off at the top and it's pretty noticeable. That's a pretty easy fix. It's not too hard to make that image, and there are plenty of photoshop tutorials incase you can't salvage this one or you can't find another better one.

Thirdly, the timer image styling is not in keeping with the rest of the page. I think the styling is great as long as it is uniform. If you can find a similarly illustrated timer image, it would help unify the styling of your page and overall brand image. Also the illustration of the man is a little bit fuzzy.. I don't know if you have the ability to sharpen that up, but if you can, you should. Not something everyone will notice, but I definitely noticed.

And finally, I think it's a little odd to have a large block of text at the bottom of the page with very little supporting it on the sides. If anything that sort of mission statement text should be in the middle of the vertical contents, or at least above the "A bad credit loans company you can rely on" div, which seems like it should be in the footer of the page. The way it's designed now, the mission statement looks like a disclaimer that nobody will really want to read.

Overall though I do think it is a good design! :)

Nice overall looking, but there are too many already-made templates.

I mean, this is my opinion about graphics only, not the usability.

Bye :)

Really nice!

Just one thing ive noticed, the big 'Apply Now' button on the form has -- on it, im guessing this is from using a background image to style and leaving the submit value blank.
