Red Bull

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I'm sure many of you are powered by red bull , I know I am !

I've decided to have a go with tumblr but needed a subject , I have setup www.redbullmissions.com for people to archive their experiences with large amounts of redbull. Still very much work in progress but any input for the content would be gratefully received :)

How are you all today ?

Luke

I prefer monster really, the cans are bigger and it tastes better. Red bull did help me stay up for nearly 2 days once but near the end of it i wasn't really aware of what was going on around me other than on the screen in front of me.

Relentless man myself, just so darn expensive!!! Hooray for the cash n carry card lol :D

Although I really do drink too much of it 888

The first thing i did when I went self employed was apply for a Makro card in order to buy large crates of Red Bull

One of my skateboard buddies is pro and on flow from relentless... meaning we used to have access to LARGE quantities of Relentless! lol

Definitely is better.

Seconded ;)

Im a diabetic but do a lot of weight training so it helps :)

Like Mike, I used to drink tons of it when I was gigging. I had a silly idea that it might keep me awake after driving for 12 hours and then going on stage. After 8 cans I just had the shakes and was still falling asleep! It's the devil!

Not bad mate. A lot of pre-workout supps are really over priced. Where I train they sell "caffeine kick" and its £2 for a small bottle.

Some guys I know swear by this for pre-workout - http://www.myprotein.com/uk/products/pulse think it works out about 60p a drink. Its almost always sold out though! I don't really bother with anything pre-workout, sometimes I'll take some of that caffeine and maybe a banana. Are you training for any sports? How much can you lift?

Just bodybuilding bud. Trying to get lean at the moment

Incline Dumbbell press I use 40KG dumbbells

Dumbbell curl I use 22.5kg for biceps

Squats is 120KG for 3 sets of 10

Deadlift is 120KG - I had to drop back to work on grip

(Just main lifts there bud)

Yourself?

That's a seriously strong chest!

My compounds...

Squat - 147.5Kg (100% ATG, I've dropped down to 5x5 x 120 to try and get rid of butt wink)

Deadlift - 185Kg (w/straps, I've done more but probably not legit lifts)

Overhead press - 62.5Kg

Bent over barbell row - not sure what 1RM is, I did 5x5 x 90Kg last night

Bench Press - 102.5Kg

Thats pretty much the only lifts I do, sometimes I do variations of each, like might do a push presses instead of OHP, front squats, overhead squats, etc.

You mentioned grip... I have a really ****ty grip, I think it might be to do with working on computers?
