maybe ur swapping houses! now that would be weird!

I live in Linlithgow at the moment, I'm just moving a few miles away to a cheaper flat. Hopefully I can move back here when business picks up cos its really nice.

Ive got a flat viewing today! looking to move out my mums house on the 1st of feb :)

my misses is 17, im 18. not bad!!

Yeah its just inside West Lothian, quite nice place (well linlithgow is anyway, dunno about the rest of it ). I don't really know much about the design/development scene in Glasgow or have any contacts there but you should fire through to Edinburgh and go to the freelance meetup there is also some good networking to be had at the melting pot open days.

I'm getting the keys to my flat on the 1st as well... Not looking forward to internet downtime!

Really appreciate the links and advice Jock!

It's a weird situation as to why i'm uprooting from London (when most people i meet are coming here), i guess you just got to do what keeps your health.

Ugh thats sucks! There is no wifi you can steal? I'm hoping I can hack into someone's wifi in my new place while I get the internet connection ordered. I'm pretty screwed if I cant, there is no 3G signal here :(

I know its killer.. i can steal wifi on my birds iphone?? thats about it dunno if its stealing either. yeah i got a 3g dongle at the mo, there rubbish! everyone i know barely gets signal on them.

however

There are tutorial for hacking into wireless connections...

i saw a setup the other day round a fellow web designers house, all you need is a special type of router that allows the bug which is about 20pounds , then after that you wont even need to get broadband... untill you decide to be legit :)

Ill grab the link and pm u it this week!

I'm in the same boat where i am going (although to be honest it's still terrible in London anyway).

Thankfully my current mobile broadband contract co-incidentally ends the same day i leave and i wont be renewing!

England > Cheshire > Stoke area :)

However all your private data is going through some strangers connection and then there's the ethical reasoning (and you can't complain at someone else's downtime :p)

never thought of it like that scary stuff :p

England seems to be dominating so far then.

From Manchester myself, wedged closely near Old Trafford.

I like that :)

Guess I am an outsider here. USA here. I used to be a forum administrator of Allgrapicdesign.com until they sold the place off to people who didn't give a ****. Now the place is a desert. So I moved.

Only welshman to vote thus far! Whoohoo! I'm from the south wales region.
