Blogger Widget Appears on Every Page

Hi, I recently started my own Blogger website in order to promote my Instagram account. I added a Lightwidget to my website homepage to display my Instagram posts but the widget appears on all pages of my website. I tried to add a condition to my code below but it causes the widget to stop working entirely. Any ideas? My Widget code is as follows: <b:widget id='HTML1' locked='false' title='Images' type='HTML' visible='true'> <b:includable id='main'> <!-- only display title if it's non-empty --> <b:if cond='data:title != ""'> <h2 class='title'><data:title/></h2> </b:if> <div class='widget-content'> <data:content/> </div> <b:include name='quickedit'/> </b:includable> </b:widget> <b:widget id='Blog1' locked='true' title='Blog Posts' type='Blog' visible='true'> Thanks, Kevin

After deciding the target audience with these simple tools, start your writing process. Carefully write the blog that exactly meets the need of the target audience. 2. Make Interesting Blog Content: It would be nearly impossible for you to select an original content for blogging. The best and impressive way to develop a blog is to generate some innovative or creative ideas and spin them in a unique way or according to the blog you are going to write. A blogger is an individual with own knowledge and voice. In the world of successful bloggers, you have to build your own identity so make sure you are incorporating enough knowledge, your own voice and ideas into the blog. This is the best part that will set you apart from this competition. To make a unique blog, you can include some highly latest information and facts or new researches. This is how you will be able to incorporate your unique thoughts and ideas into your blog. You need to do a lot of market research in the similar area in which you are writing your own blog. Check out different bloggers presenting the similar information and generate new ways to spin it or make it better and unique. You must be completely updated on your competition. 3. Add Content On Regular Basis: To capture a large number of audience and maintain their steady state, create some new content on a regular and daily basis. Every new blog that you enter should meet the needs of your target audience, offer the content that is valuable and it must be related to the previous content so that a new audience can look the previous work too. If you want to target a large number of people, then it is best for you to stay on one topic and fulfil the needs and expectations of your target audience. This will need a crucial understanding of the target audience and correct your focus and demands. Make sure that you have arranged a schedule of your daily posting. It is highly necessary to maintain the schedule. Despite being over-ambitious, it would be a good option to post the content on a weekly basis rather than posting two or three times a week as it can cause a problem for you at some time. 4. Make A Big Online Community: Your actual focus should not be about posting the content regularly, but you should focus on developing an online community. Post the interactive content that should encourage your targeted audience to send the feedback and comments and they must be able to interact with each other and share their own ideas and information. Make sure that you have a button to share on all your blog content. Make the sharing easy by your audience on the Facebook, Google+ or Twitter. This will help you in building the audience in only a small period of time. 5. Promote The Blog: Your targeted audience will take some time to reach you and build an entire community. You have to promote your content to become a successful blogger as nearly all top bloggers rely on the media for publicity of their content. Promote your content on a regular basis and most importantly, when you are adding a new content. 6. Keep Everything Professional: It is always necessary to adopt the professional look irrespective of the audience targeted. Keep the overall look and design of your blog professional. Meanwhile, make sure that your content is easy to read and understand. Be sure that your work is free of grammatical errors and spelling mistakes as it will remove the credibility and your blog will not give a professional look. These blogging tips will lead you to a successful path of blogging. Start your work with motivation and passion and you will get fruitful results. Author invites you to visit :HOME | Empire Articles

  6. Hi, My name's Nathan and I'm pretty new to the world of web design. With my limited knowledge I have managed to create a very basic website for my side business using the blogger platform and I could do with some feedback. I look at it now and I know it can be improved, but I'm struggling with ideas. The home page especially is pretty bland in my mind. The thing with blogger, is it's very hard to move images around to where you'd like them in the post editor. Whenever I try to just experiment with the code (I know nothing) I just mess it up and end up and then . Is it possible to create a landing page in dreamweaver (something fancier) and then export that code or whatever into the home page bit easily? Also, some general ideas about what I could do to improve the site would be extremely helpful. The website is http://www.virtually-staffed.com Thanks for reading

  8. Hi, I am making a blogger website for my friend. I am using a premade template and tweak it a little bit to fit my friends wishes. But the template is build this way so regular posts are displayed first and then comes the Text/HTML widget. I want to place a short text before all the regular posts on the upper left side below the menubar. I tried it to arrange it through Blogger but somehow I can't place anything before the regular blogposts except the widget Popular Posts. The widget Popular Posts has the spot I want to use for my Text/HTML widget. But I don't know how to move my Text/HTML widget to that spot. They renewed Blogger so I don't have a clue how to tweak it. I won't use the widget Popular Posts, I just turned it on to make my problem clear. Hopefully somebody can take a look and help me? I only would like to have 1 text/html widget on top. Then comes all the blogposts. And below the blogposts, I want to keep the possibility to have more text/html widgets. Hope it's possible..
