Hi My first thought is that there seems to be a lot of text so it could be worth adding more images if you can. Perhaps you could try embedding a video of one of your team saying about your aims – could this be positioned at the top of the page? A video like this could help build up trust so could lead to more people signing up. Could you offer some kind of benefit for people signing up, perhaps a free pen or ebook? Ok, I’m a recent convert to WordPress! For years, I dismissed it as just a blogging platform with security issues. But I actually quite like it now and I am finding that many of the web designers I’m dealing with are also beginning to use it more as well. From my point of view as a content marketing specialist, it’s easy for me to update and create content for clients. So my question is do you build and design now on WordPress?

To be honest I wouldn't focus on the organic listings too much. Take them more as a snap shot. The better measure would be to look at: The number of visitors - new and returning The bounce rate The length of time vistitors spend on the site/pages Conversion goals (e.g. email sign ups/number of sales etc..) With Hummingbird, content can rank for different types of phrases. Create a great visitor experience with targeted marketing, and your website should do well. Good luck with it all.

For me, I've found leads in several different ways. These have included publishing a free advert in the local church magazine, mentioning my business on my Facebook feed, and actually contacting prospects directly. In this last case, I sent personalised emails and followed up by phone calls asking whether I could meet the relevant person for a coffee. This has been the best approach so far and I am working with a number of website design companies as a result (as a content marketing specialist I am always keen to work with more of course). I think I've kind of tapped into an age-old problem of writing content for new websites because the clients have failed to supply content in the first place! I'm liking the http://www.cherry-designs.net website. The reason for me is that the navigation keeps you on the page for a long time (which Google likes of course). I think it is quite a clever idea. Also from a user's point of view, it's very easy to navigate. It would be quite interesting to carry out some A/B split tests as well.

I agree with HarshMehra - make sure that your website coding works. The other key thing is to keep the site updated with fresh, original and relevant content. If you can, try and make content interesting enough to be shared. Use longer-tail key phrases in the your content as well. Hope this helps.
