  1. Why isn't anybody mentioning Joomla as a content management system? I personally now prefer wordpress, but only because as a developer myself it is very easy to expand the system. But Joomla has it own advantages too, in my opinion
  2. Thank you both! This one was the different approach: And this was slightly different than the first: But for the balance, I ended up here, which I prefer the most at the moment: The dark green is the main color in my website, and owl coding is not possible, because my name is the other way round. I believe there is a firm already calling itself owl coding and there is a programming language called owl... I think. What do you think about them? Thx a lot
  3. Those design sites are like buying a container full of plastic toys from china. Well, I prefer solid artisanry, built for generations to last .. (well, in web design, maybe not generations, but for many years? )
  4. I personally have been using Zervant for about one year now. It is really a great service, and I can't get enough of telling people that. Although I had a free account first, I still received to all my support requests fast and personal responses. It is free if you do not need invoices, you can give it a try. They have also recurring invoices in their newest version, but I have not tried it. If you want to read more: Zervant And I have a recommendation link also, if you registrate via my link, you get one additional month free of full version usage! (normally only one month free testing, with my link two months - I get one free month too ) zervant signup
  5. I'd suggest you really try all these fields, before to decide. Should you not choose rather on what you really like to do, than on what makes the most money? And if these both fits, well thats great I believe real money can be everywhere, it is more dependant, if you are really good and honest with the things you do...
  6. Hi everybody! Since I am working on my own, without collegues to give feedback, it is really hard to develop further with graphic design. Although I am learned in coding, I lack of a proper design study, and it makes graphic design really slow for me. I am eager to learn more and have tried to teach myself by reading, watching and practising. I finally want to make my own logo. Well, it has to do with my name and me as a web & graphic designer / developer. I do not want to brief anymore, I'd just be really happy if you could give me some thoughts to it, what do you understand in this logo, is the purpose clear, and of course, is are there any no-go design mistakes? I have been trying for days now to get these two words together, I have a different approach also, pls let me know if you want to see it Thanks very much in advance!
  7. Hello everyone! I am new here, as you can see, and just wanted to say hello! I have been working as a freelance web designer for a year and a half now, and feel I have still a lot to learn! Greetings, Mariam
