I have looked at your website and your backlink profile, which is not that strong, but what you do have is a clean website, with plenty of content that will be seen as one page by Google. Now because it is only one page and has useful content Google seems to give it more value in search engines and you only have to look after on-page SEO on one page, so there is not really any page rank being lost anywhere. If your website had 10 pages you would find it lot harder to get good page rank on each page because you would be linking to different pages in your menus and architecture and the page rank would be spread between pages. You also need to get more backlinks to these pages to improve page rank and it is harder to maintain and keep clean against Google Algorithms.

Guest blogging is still OK to be used, but it has started to become spammy and it will not be long before Google web spam team take action to prevent spam being created this way. If you are going to do Guest Blogging make sure you look for trusted blogs and not something that anyone can post on because I am quite sure it will not benefit you in the long run.

Meta Author The Meta Author tag is used to declare the author of an HTML or XML document of a website. Below is an example of a Meta Author tag: <META NAME="Author" CONTENT="first name – last name"> Google,Yahoo or Bing does not index the Meta Author tag, so this mean it will not give you any benefit in your search engine ranking. It is recognized as part of the "Meta Tag Standard."

I will only talk about on-page problems because I can see quite a few that will need addressing. Below should be enough information to help you clean up your website and address other issues at a later date. 1. Make sure your 404 page is set up correct. 2. Fix your broken links. 3. Fix duplicate titles. 4. Optimize your titles for your content and do not repeat your keywords in the title. 5. Change your 302 redirects to 301 redirects, so Google does not get confused and if it does you could end up losing traffic. 6. Have a look at your website and see what keywords you need to rank for and not just target three. 7. One page has way too many links on it. 8. Review links that are external and do-follow you have some that need to be made no-follow. 9. Make sure you have relevant alt tags on images.

No Follow This means Google bot won’t crawl the link and won’t pass any link juice. I think your website has some good features and the overall layout is good, but there are a couple of things I think you could improve on for usability and overall look. 1. I would suggest not to use any advertising it makes your site look to busy with all the images on the site. Also, the first thing you see when reading an article is an advert, which slightly, puts me off reading the rest of it. 2. You need to be consistent with your image titles because users that are not tech minded will not know what some of the images are so I would create a title for each image that is displayed on its own and a little description for them. I can see some titles have been done on images, but if you are consistent it makes usability better. Page load times vary a bit while the advertisements are loaded this can make users click away instead of reading content on your site.

Links In my opinion having 13,000 links from one domain should not be an issue if it is a (reputable and related site). However, if the anchor text is keyword rich, then this could be a problem with the Penguin algorithm. This is assuming they are linking to you as (do-follow) not (no-follow), even know it is debatable it will still hurt you if your links are (no-follow) and keyword rich. You also got to take in consideration that is this is coming from one IP address and will only count as one link regards to your link profile. Most of the time the top level domain has the most (PR), but I have seen sites have other pages with higher (PR), but the result is the same if it is linking from multiple pages on the same IP it will take the highest (PR). If every link from a (reputable and related site) counted as a Google profile link towards rankings then in theory with enough links pointing to your site you could rank your web site highly in Google from one site. This is not the case and it will work a lot better to get links form different IP address and not just one. Disavow Tool Using the disavow tool to disavow links is only needed if you see drop in rankings, which could be due to the Penguin algorithm or if you have a very bad link profile and end up with “unnatural links” notification from Google in your webmaster tools.

In regards to your site it can be many things and after a quick look I see a few things. On-Page 1. Age of your domain as pointed out above. 2. Usefulness of your content and uniqueness. 3. Your site is hosted in America. 4. Your average load time for pages is 3.72 seconds. 5. Image alt tags are very long on some images. 6. Make sure all images have (alt / title) tags. 7. On the home page each service you offer you might want to even up the (read) buttons. 8. You have some broken links. 9. I would be careful with your do-follow links to external sites and maybe make some no-follow. I cannot say at present which ones as I do not understand the language. 10. You have duplicate titles. 11. Some URL’s are too long. 12. Some Empty Meta descriptions, but you might have done this to let Google grab snippets. 13. You might want to mention other pages within your site to share any page rank gained. I know the home page only has a page rank 1, but if you build that up you can share the juice. 14. The email icon top right does nothing. Off-Page 1. You only have 32 backlinks. 2. The do-follow links you have are mainly forum links. 3. You are only in a few directories. Summary 1. Clean-up your site first. 2. Start building some good links by joining some local directories in your Niche. 3. Do some blog comments. 4. Become a resource with questions and answers in mind on your social network once you build them up. 5. Create some videos for YouTube. This is not a full promotion, but will be enough to get you going and at least see some changes.

The best way to describe bounce rate is the percentage of your visitors that only view one page and then exit your site. Overall there a few important factors that will end up contributing to your overall bounce rate. 1. Visitors may leave your site if there are usability or design issues. 2. Visitors may only need the one page they visited to get the information they need and not need other pages. 3. A single page site can cause high bounce rates because Google Analytics will not track multiple page views unless your visitors reload the entire page. 4.The tracking code may not be implemented correctly on all pages. 5. The design of your landing pages could be making the user navigate away and you might need to redesign the pages. 6. A user may just bookmark your page and leave and this will be classed as a bounce.

I agree that no third party metrics including (Domain Authority, Page Authority, MozRank, MozTrust ) can replace the PageRank. These are just a company's own metrics, but it does give a good insight into the overall link profile of a site. The PageRank is not updated often anymore and even Matt Cutt's has said this. I just feel something else is on its way to replace it. I think the (Domain Authority, Page Authority) is a good metrics to use, while Google are deciding what to do, with PageRank. As we know Matt Cutt's said there was not going to be a PageRank update this year and we saw one on December 6th. I think if we see something updating less and less we can only assume it is on its way out.

Google will still index your page if you put a (no-follow) attribute on the page. A (no-follow) is just a signal that you do not trust the pages that you are linking to and no PageRank will be passed. Please note PageRank will not be around forever and Page Authority & Domain Authority is taking over, so in theory the (no-follow) tag will add some credit from trusted sites.

Link Exchange: I think link exchange does offer benefits when the page you are linking to has good trust and high authority. This meaning it ranks well in search engines, which will add great value to a site as well. Sites having the domain extension “.edu”&“.org” are considered high value links. Getting links from authoritative sites are really hard to obtain. I would say link exchange tends to be natural to some extent, but on the other hand, massive pre-planned link exchange schemes or networks will be picked up algorithmically by Google, so you will end up being penalised sooner or later. I feel that (Limited link exchange) is good and (Aggressive link exchange) is not so good. One way non related link: A non-related link to your site in the eyes of the search engine is a more natural flow, but can also cause you problems if it is do-follow and you have lots of them. Summary: With the above taken into consideration I think link exchange on a small scale is better than (non-related links) in the long run.

I think we can score this in different ways depending on the situation. On-Page SEO: 4/10 – This is for a new site and you have full control of the architecture and links. On-Page SEO: 6/10 – A site that has been on the internet for years and has over 50 pages. This can become very messy and difficult to clean up. Off-Page SEO: 8/10 – A new site that has no back links and the client wants page one results within three to six months. Off-Page SEO: 10/10 – This is for a site that has been established on the internet and has been on page one for some time and then gets hit by a Google algorithm penalty and say a web masters (unnatural links) message.
