According to you what is wrong with the website http://www.edilstone.ch

 

Edilstone AG is a Swiss company with headquarters in Lugano, St. Moritz and Bregaglia that offers services such as laying of marble, granite, onyx backlight and other types of natural stones. In addition he also works with the tiles and mosaics.

When I do research in the various search engines the site posted above comes after the company's competition even if they have sites with less content.

Can you tell me why?

It can depend on the age of your website (older the better), how many high quality back links going to the site, the quality of your content and page load speed.

It looks like the website is only 5 months old, that is probably the main reason.

Your page title and description on each page seem to be there, I don't know the language so I can't comment on the keywords or how it is written.

Your using WordPress there are a few plugins that can help with page load speed. (although it is pretty fast already)

Autoptimize
Autoptimize makes optimizing your site really easy. It concatenates all scripts and styles, minifies and compresses them, adds expires headers, caches them, and moves styles to the page head, and scripts to the footer. It also minifies the HTML code itself, making your page really lightweight.

EWWW Image Optimizer
The EWWW Image Optimizer is a WordPress plugin that will automatically and lossless optimize your images as you upload them to your blog. It can also optimize the images that you have already uploaded in the past. It is also possible to convert your images automatically to the file format that will produce the smallest image size (make sure you read the WARNINGS).

In regards to your site it can be many things and after a quick look I see a few things.

On-Page

1. Age of your domain as pointed out above.

2. Usefulness of your content and uniqueness.

3. Your site is hosted in America.

4. Your average load time for pages is 3.72 seconds.

5. Image alt tags are very long on some images.

6. Make sure all images have (alt / title) tags.

7. On the home page each service you offer you might want to even up the (read) buttons.

8. You have some broken links.

9. I would be careful with your do-follow links to external sites and maybe make some no-follow. I cannot say at present which ones as I do not understand the language.

10. You have duplicate titles.

11. Some URL’s are too long.

12. Some Empty Meta descriptions, but you might have done this to let Google grab snippets.

13. You might want to mention other pages within your site to share any page rank gained. I know the home page only has a page rank 1, but if you build that up you can share the juice.

14. The email icon top right does nothing.

Off-Page

1. You only have 32 backlinks.

2. The do-follow links you have are mainly forum links.

3. You are only in a few directories.

Summary

1. Clean-up your site first.

2. Start building some good links by joining some local directories in your Niche.

3. Do some blog comments.

4. Become a resource with questions and answers in mind on your social network once you build them up.

5. Create some videos for YouTube.

This is not a full promotion, but will be enough to get you going and at least see some changes.
