I've read no good stories about Haswell for desktop, overclock is a shame and energy saver is near to useless on an overclocked system. I don't know if you want to upgrade the system in future but if u think to stack with this component for some year i'll suggest you ivy-bridge i5 or sandy-bridge too. i owned 2500k and 3570k too, with overclock sandy beats ivy for a slightly and if u find it in sale or of second hand you gain a special deal In the other hand u must consider socket 1155 is dead then if u want upgrade later go for Haswell but , imho, ignore K series and go for normal one, you save some money

Hello guys , i'm up for buy a new laptop. I have to buy this note for web design and coding. I'll use Adobe suite mainly(Photoshop, firework, dreamweaver) and i need an help from who knows web design better than me. As i said before i'll use this notebook for web design and for a light gaming too. I love mmorpg then not heavy game. I'll use two external monitor (already have) via display port or mini dp and i'm stucked with the decision. Macbook Pro 15" vs Clevo 15"(for exampleVortex IV from pcspecialist or similar) Macbook pro is macbook pro, very stunning design, portability, power and macosx Clevo are very fat and heavy but double power, upgradable and more refines to gaming price is nearly the same 2250€ for mbp with educational discount 2120€ clevo maxed (i7 4800 780m 16gb) i'd eveluated macbook pro non retina and a medium range clevo but in this case i can't plug two external monitor through digital signal (1 thunderbolt for mbp and only vga/hdmi for clevo) Anyone have some advice to give me? My name is Marco and I'm Italian, I'm 30 and I'm living in Venice at the moment. My project is to come and live in the UK in the near future (in about a year).
