Hi all, I have got a sticky footer on earthly-goods.co.uk and that seems to work well and solve the problem of overlapping content but now the text sizes on certain pages is inconsistent and a lot larger than it should be. All pages use the default p class yet they don't all follow the text size rule. I have attached screenshots of it is chrome on HTC One X. Very annoying so any suggestions on how to fix are gladly accepted! Thanks, Jack

If I remove height:750px will this fix the problem completely? I did remove height:750 from www. frodshamweb .co.uk/webhosting and also added class="clearfix" but it still hasn't solved the problem

Thanks for your suggestion Teodora but after trying it on the webhosting page of my site the same problem still occurs. Will using a 'sticky footer' work? Then I just need to find a way to fix the homepage!

Thanks for your help! I will try your suggestion mteam but what would the height need changing to on the .testimoniallogo? I understand the problem a bit more after your explanation teodora, thank you for that! So just to clarify, do I need to add a clear:both to the parent container like below and this will solve the problem for all the normal pages? <div class="textcontent" style="height:750px;" div style="clear: both"> Then if I add clear:both to the css for .road and .footer the problem will be solved on the homepage? Hi everyone, I really hope someone will be able to help me! I am getting pretty frustrated with my website www. frodshamweb .co .uk which when published a couple of months ago, worked fine on iPhone, android browser and also Chrome mobile browser which is what I use on my HTC One X and of course on desktop browsers. It seems now for some reason (may be something to do with the chrome update I did a couple of days back) that when looking at the website on an android, the text size is out of proportion and rather big. It overlaps the footer and is a real pain and makes the whole website unreadable! On an iPhone is stays in proportion to the rest of the page and other text sizes and isn't responsive. When using Chrome on Android, the text rules the roost and has a mind of it's own. I have attached screenshots, any help would be really really appreciated! Thanks, Jack

Thanks Lyndesy! Yes my avatar is the icon of my logo (see the whole logo on frodshamweb .co .uk ) and it all ties into the 'local' ethos of Frodsham Web. Frodsham is quite a rural town in Cheshire and beekeeping is quite a historical aspect of the place hence why it is shaped like a honeycomb. Also each shape represents a local element eg: Town clock, Bee and then wifi just to show the technical side that most people will recognize. Hope you like the theory behind it! Thanks, J

Hi everyone, Thanks for all your replies, been great to hear everyone's suggestions. I think I will have to wait for it to arrive and just have a play around and do a bit more reading. Thinking of putting Windows Home Server on it as having files in a central location is my biggest priority although some of the other perks of other operating systems do sound quite cool and useful. Will probably be back asking when it arrives and I stumble across a query! Thanks, Jack

Hi, Following an eBuyer promotion the other day I took the step to buy a HP ProLiant G7 N54L 2.2GHz MicroServer. I am in need of a way to access files using the laptop and PC and I hope a microserver will offer this. I also need to be certain that files are safe and it seems using the different SATA drives in the server and also the ability to backup the server to an external hard drive, it seems to offer that peace of mind. I am just wanting to find out how people manage files and whether anyone uses a home server to try and achieve what I want to do. Any feedback on what OS I should run on it or tips and tricks would be much appreciated! Will just be interesting to hear how people manage their files and make sure they are always safe --- Jack

Thanks, I was thinking the same of using something like Flickr but if there is a self hosted photo gallery with update functionality then that would probably be better

Hi, I am building a simple three page budget website for a client who isn't too computer literate and wants an easy way to simply edit images on the website. I want to avoid trying to use Wordpress as the only content that needs editing is an image gallery on one of the three pages. I am looking for some way for there to be an image gallery on that page which displays images with a caption as he simply wants to put pictures of his past jobs (he is a builder) with a short description. Is there someway to do this whether it be to use an iframe of some outside gallery or is there a php gallery I can insert into the page that he can easily edit and upload new pictures? Any thoughts appreciated and sorry if I have put this in the wrong category but I am sort of looking for a 'picture gallery cms'! Thanks, Jack
