Or have about check some themes in themeforest. Whenever, I had trouble building a new site with different features, I always find what I'm looking for in that site. And if you had your theme, just customize it based on your needs and requirements.

Responsive websites allow users to view websites in their ipad or mobile devices in different layouts to increase readability of the site. If you're viewing a non-responsive site, you would occassionally have to zoom out the site just to be able to view the whole site as for as a responsive site, you don't have to do that.

I think the first was better than the newly released logo.

Using google fonts improves your site's loading speed but if your concern is the design of the site specifically typography then you should definitely consider using a font-face.

If you're not using a wordpress, you can just apply a class on the selected menu and change the selected state to a different color. In wordpress, there are default class which are already available.

Change your font type in your logo, its unreadable. Maybe change it to bold type.

Maybe you should make the 6 icons display vertically. Just a suggestion though.

Use yoast seo plugin it will help your site rank better.

It's only a one page site, if that's the case you should remove the top navigation since it seems to me its a landing page.

Your portfolio site's color combination not that great. Also your padding should be adjusted.

Your testimonial widget's content is barely unreadble, you need to adjust its font color to increase text's readibility.

A little adjustment on your footer too, the text is not that readable. Also, if you can convert it to a responsive design that will be better.

It's still an incomplete website with an image background, maybe if you can add a navigation and some content, you'll get a feedback.
