  1. Hey, Just launched a new site for european business and financial news for CNBC European Business Magazine. Could you check it out and let me know what you think please. Link: cnbc european business magazine Thanks in advance
  2. Cheers Guys @1christopher - so true lol
  3. Gave Ryanair's Magazine site a redesign. What's your thoughts? Do you like the new look? Link: Ryanair Mag Cheers ps: I know the code doesn't validate(I'll be fixing that soon).
  4. Cheers Everyone @MolotovRuss: I'll defiantly do that looks much better like that. Thanks. Thanks guys I'll be putting it live proper on the 16th btw.
  5. Cheers guys thanks for the positive feedback. @ MolotovRuss: Some good ideas there that ill probably use, Could you do a mock up of what you mean for the footer if you can spare the time. Thanks
  6. Been working on a redesign for Ryanair's inflight magazine and am nearing completion. I'd just like some feedback form you guys on weather you think it works or not or what you think would be cool to add on the site or if I should take things out. Please note i haven't made the code validate or work across all browsers(I tend to do that last). The link to the new one while I'm testing is link and the old/current one is here. ps check out the team page couple cool javascript effects.
  7. 1christopher: I didn't know that thanks I'll make sure to change that and remember if I use gill sans again. calumbrodie: Thanks for the tip I wonders how that was done when I've seen it in other sites.
  8. EDIT: I have just added a style switcher to the site(located in the footer), when activated it goes to a high contrast version with a bigger font size. I was just wondering what your thoughts were on styles switches. Do you think that they are good for accessibility? Or do you think they are just overkill?
  9. Yeah looks great. only thing I would change is the colours apart from the bg colour.
  10. yeah its cool, I would make the font sizes one bigger and maybe two bigger for the navigation. Then just put some padding on the footer so its the same as the content boxes.
  11. I'm not going to review because its all in flash! Simple as that.
  12. It's supposed to be Gill Sans, must of done something wrong al fix it now.
  13. Hi all, The first design I did for this site got mixed reviews and there were some good ideas, so I have tried to put them together and make a better design. link>> http://www.feelgoodfactorpt.com/ (please not it is just the first page) Cheers Guys
  14. This is a good article letting you know what the important aspects of seo are >>> link
  15. I think it is a nice design that fits well with the subject matter. One thing I would change would be to add a bit more white space around the more important elements, it just seems a little cramped. I do think its good though.
  16. Acrylic: Cheers, no google won't class that as a cheat. Because the text that is in there is the same as the image that its replacing. If it had loads of text in there with lots of keywords that weren't the same as the image over the top then thats another story. PointandStare: took out that extra meta cheers. I got technique for the coda site and they use tables for that technique. link
  17. Sono Juventino: I respectfully disagree I think that the logo text is big enough in comparison to links.
  18. Yeah I think i'll go for the from £ 195 idea, good shout. The bits that are in tables are for the popup table above the links when hovered. If you know or anyone else know how to do that I css I would be willing to listen. I got the idea from the coda site and there using tables for that part. www.panic.com/coda
  19. HI everyone, I am currently in the process of redesigning my website I have put together the first page (well haven't done the footer yet) and thought it would be best to get feedback at this stage rather than asking once its all done and then have to do big revisions. So basically do you think the design is worth carrying on with throughout the site and is there any thing you would or I should do different or maybe add. I work on a iMac so I haven't checked in IE but I think due to the complicated code there might be an issue if anyone could check or better still come back with a fix it would be greatly appreciated. 20. Hi all, I'm currently working on a site for a personal trainer I know and I have just finished the first page. Just wanting a bit of feedback as to whether you like it or not, what I should do different or add in the design and code. I don't mind you being harsh as long as its constructive please. Thanks guys the link is here
  21. I really like the design of the site. It is not too simple at all if there is such a thing as being too simple. It is a massive improvement on the first design. All you need to do now is re-build the site using css and not tables.
  22. Does it ok cheers Bad I will sort that some time today
  23. Just to let you know I changed the enquiry form to a lighbox effect rather than opening a new window and resizing it.
  24. Thanks wizely, I will sort out the I's and we's now. Thanks mark I will look in to that. It seems most of you like the site and its just the enquiry form, so I will sort that out and let you know when I have made the changes.
  25. Here's a site I did for my brother's plumbing company. There is currently only 1 page (well 2 if you include the enquiry form). The plan is to make it a bigger site in the future by putting on a services page, an image gallery of work, faq, etc. But for now I wanted something up there because he has the web address on his business cards and I don't have time to do the full site. Any thoughts would be appreciated Link: http://www.robertshawplumbing.co.uk/
