New site for Ryanair Mag

Featured Replies

Gave Ryanair's Magazine site a redesign. What's your thoughts? Do you like the new look?

Link: Ryanair Mag

Cheers

ps: I know the code doesn't validate(I'll be fixing that soon).

It feels a very strong, masculine design - I don't know if this is your target audience if 70% of travel decisions are made by women - but it is also very easy to use and loads quickly so hopefully it won't put anyone who isn't a 25 year old male off.

I liked the city guides idea - presumably this will eventually link up with the ryanair destinations

The property file was a little more difficult to use - not having the pictures next to the property wouldn't encourage me to buy, and getting them up on gallery without an obvious indication of how to get past the first image might need to be addressed. The links to the estate agents could do with being live too. Perhaps this area will become more established in time, it just seems a little difficult to get into at the moment.

I loved the drawing of the team though the popup titles are easy to miss when you scroll down to take a closer look at the people on the bottom row

I don't quite get the page that is clicked through to from the stats in the arrows on the left - just a load of trivia that doesn't fit in anywhere else I guess.

I entered one of your competitions though - hope you'll smile on me when the time comes!

I don't think the appearance of the site is going to cause Women or men over 25 to say "HEY THIS SITE ISNT MADE FOR ME" and leave. LOL.

Niice! I like your link rollovers, it makes users want to scan and browse all over the site. The layout and style is very magazine-y but I guess that's a good thing because that's exactly what it is! The only thing I'd say though is if you were to remove the 'RyanirMag' title, I would never have associated the site with being a Ryanair one. Usually companies see their websites as an extension of their brand but I personally can't see the connection.

Wahey, you used my image at the bottom! :)

Shame about the advertising, but I guess RyanAir are only interested in getting hard cash from this.

Nice design, I remember the last mockup and I think I preferred that one? But I guess the client asked for the changes :)

Nice, easy to use site, but slightly masculine in its design.
