whomever told you that was just upset with google, probably because he/she was doing something against their TOS and got banned. Adsense is handsdown one of the best. Payments are always on time, the pay per click is decent. I give them an "A"

as others have said..you don't choose which search engines you use. maybe which ones you optimize for, in which case Google is hands down the best. Why? Cause it gets the most traffic by a mile..If not google, yahoo would be #2

Yes, <strong> and <b> will both help in SEO. Don't overdue your bold, italic, underline, and h tags but you do want your main keyphrases using these. This helps point them out to the spiders

pagerank plays no effect in where you rank in the SERPS. Pagerank is important if you are going to be selling links but not if you are looking for SE traffic, plain and simple!

How many of you use the social networking sites to your advantage? Granted the traffic you get from them isn't the most targeted, and can die quickly; they are still an excellent way to drive some more visitors to your site and make a little revenue.

I would take the money you were going to invest there, and put it into a good SEO book instead. SEO is constantly changing and that software will not keep up to date

the best way would be to submit it to the google add url. However, if you submit too many pages of your site that way it will get banned. your best bet is backlinks!
