My First PSD to HTML / CSS
Good Morning, I really would love some feedback from the professionals on here.. I've nearly (not quiet!) finished my first PSD to HTML / CSS conversion and I was wondering what you all thought - what I could improve on. I would really appreciate feedback on all aspects, including the cleanliness of the code as I'm a newbie! The website is here: http://www.pixelwork...s.co.uk/dev/GER I'm still waiting for content from the client to put on there, but hopefully that shouldn't be too long now.

Slicing PSD to HTML
Yes it is, it's often said that it's best to start with the mobile site first and work your way up for responsive web design. I'd highly recommend creating a static website from PSD before concentrating on responsive web design if you haven't done so already. Once you've done a static PSD to HTML / CSS conversion then look at media queries as that's what makes your site responsive. Best of luck and feel free to post on here for any help.

Reveal your hourly rate?
I used to charge by an hourly rate to cover myself then if they ask "Could you just do this?" and think its a two minute job, when it's not. I'm covered! I've since found a one off price to be better, which is based on my hourly rate like others. But I go in to detail on what's covered in that price! They know how much they're paying. You know how much you're getting! But if they asked, then I'd let them know.

Image not displaying on iPad / iPhone
Hello, I have just started working on my responsive side to this: http://www.pixelwork...s.co.uk/dev/GER And I have had some issues where by on the iPad / iPhone the slider image was zoomed in and pixelated. I got advice that because I was using a min-height on the div.slider that was causing the image to zoom in / pixelate on those devices - since I've removed the min-height the image just doesn't display on iOS devices - but it does on a desktop computer. Any ideas?

How to count total pages in my website
You could count them manually, or upload your site to a web server and use http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ to create a site map, once the sitemap has been created, the next page will show you how many pages it has indexed (on the right hand side), although it does come with a maximum of 500.
