Haha, yeah, i used to chase even when i had payment. Now i just leave it with them. On a larger site 40 pages plus, then i can get a lot of mails flying backward and forward. They don't often track their changes and it can get very confusing...

HI, have been around a few years. Getting copy from clients has never stopped being a PITA. Print outs, word docs, open office, spreadsheets, photocopies, multliple emails, links to old/competitor sites. More time spent waiting or chasing for copy than anything else....So, my question is, "does anyone have a better way?" i did wonder about setting up a simple WP template site, dragging in the page titles and uploading it to the hosting (with a simple password) then they can add the copy to each page and i can put it on the build as and when I want it. But then i thought about revisions, multiple editors, page sign off etc and wondered if this already exists. Is someone already using a solution to do all this. If it can do electronic sign off on design, images etc so it's all in one place all the better. Anyone?

if they are .co.uk nominet coudl be helpful. if the mate has disapeared there is process he can go down and claim the domains (bit of paperwork and proof of company id required) if his mate is simply not playing ball and they are in his name then he is pretty much snookered!

there are few of these collectives, i know of one in manchester,. they have extended out to include other creatives, photographyers, writers, artists etc might be worth saying where you are

what about taking a template (even a simple HTML ) template, whack wordpress on it and use your mates imagery to "bespoke" it?

interesting, a lot of "uk based seo companies" disapeared almost overnight after the panda and penguin updates.

everyone else in my office has macs, their machines still seem pretty powerful 3 years on, my pc is on its last legs

that is very low, have a look at google external keyword tool and see how many searches there are for that term. it does't sound like a lot of traffice tbh. Plus he will not tell you what he wants, he will ask what you are willing to pay. Asking on a forum like this is pointless. you have to decide what its worth to you.

also some companies (like mine) offer support packages. I'm not touting for work btw. just another option to consider
