...If someone paid you for 6 months (Enough to get by) and gave you the time to develop/create your own company/product what exactly would you make?

It's an interesting idea, freedom for 6 months to create anything you wanted or wished you had more time to do...

I've been doing it (he says wearing his Hat of Arrogance ). Had a life changing event a couple of years ago a bit of relocation and 'finding oneself'. Now I'm focusing on the design world - and yes, I'm intentionally keeping it that broad. Best decision I have made in every aspect other than financial at the moment, but it's early days.

 

In a previous life I was pursuing writing for film etc... but it clashed with my character. The bigger question is what would you do SEOLover?

Very interesting indeed, I won't delve too deep then. - Interesting re: Film writing, what sort of character would you class yourself as/whats needed for that type of role?

Me? I really don't know, someone posted the question Facebook and got me thinking, it's interesting as it could really make you think about your current situation and how you feel about how things are in your life and maybe take a new direction, I'd quite like to maybe explore the "Arts" be in painting to film making etc

Not necessarily a business plan, just something i'd like to explore further and have the time to develop.

I wish a client would blank cheque a project. How refreshing to have no limits, no budget to work to, how cool could you make a site?

 

If it was 6 months i'd actually be able to finish my own project (working on v 2).

Great question and what a lovely thought! I would probably be working on creating web design tools to aid designers. Unfortunately I haven't the time at the moment, so much on. It would be very nice, I wish it was an option. One day!

If I had 6 months, I would have concentrated on improving my photoshop skills and probably on creating a good photo manipulation / digital painting, I have had a few ideas already of what I want to do, something that speaks to people. But to be honest, I will spend the first month doing absolutely nothing and will enjoy it

Yes it is freedom, you can create, design, experiment and make anything you want to.. Good luck for that

I would take the time to generate sources of passive income.

 

Right now I only have one small source - I sell t-shirt designs through one of those "make your own t-shirt" type sites. Essentially, I've uploaded a couple designs and I get a small chunk of profit any time someone buys a t-shirt where they've used one of my designs in. Having the extra couple hundred dollars every month without having to really do anything sure is nice! I've wanted to expand this, and other possible sources, for a while but am too busy with other work.

 

Of course, there is an endless list of things I've always wanted to take the time to learn/do... Javascript/jQuery, PHP, CMSs, Wordpress development, App development, launching my own e-commerce site, the list goes on...

If I had limited cash 100% start with e-commerce.
