    First off we need to know how your using these fonts. It's no good us trying to help you if we don't know what you've done in the first place!

    Secondly, you could give the 'font-smooth' CSS declaration a go. It doesn't have great browser support currently but it's sure to pick up in the future.

    That's the problem then. These will only work if the user has them installed on their computer (not likely).
    You need to use either the @font-face method (a good place to start with this is at Font Squirrel) or Google Web Fonts

    You need to use capital N in your bg link

    ul#menu li a { background-image: url("images/Nav2.png"); display: block; float: left; height: 76px; overflow: hidden; text-indent: -9999px; }

    This isn't a rant, it's a word of encouragement. If you do anything with front end code, and you're having a problem, and you come on here looking for help, the single best thing you can do is MAKE A FIDDLE.

    By making a fiddle, I'm referring to http://jsfiddle.net.'>http://jsfiddle.net. This website has boxes you place your code in, and allows you to run your code off different javascript logos. You can then test your code, and it displays in the bottom right.

    You can then load your code, via your Fiddle, in all your browsers, meaning you can instantly test browser compatibility of your code.

    It's also great because it allows you to tinker with your code, fine tune, remove bugs, all in real time.

    So, if you have a problem with your code, make a fiddle. Link us to your Fiddle. We can then tinker with your code and help you make a work.

    Do it!

    Here's an example:

    depends on printer, most time I use a5.

    But flyers are any size that come with the design, there are no set rules and your only limitation is your creativity.

    diva reacted to evu in How to add two jquery sliders within a html page?
    Is it not a case of giving the other two sliders unique id's such as "#slider 2" and "#slider 3" and then calling the function again for the other sliders?

    jQuery(window).load(function() { jQuery('#slider').nivoSlider(); jQuery('#slider2').nivoSlider(); jQuery('#slider3').nivoSlider(); });

    I'm not great at JS let alone wp so...

    I wouldnt use tables for this.

    You should really avoid using tables unless your working with lists of information.
    Try using two divs with a background image

    in your html:

    <div class="your-block"><p>See the take away menu here</p></div> <div class="your-block"><p>choose the items and call use</p></div>

    in your style sheet:

    /* targets the DIVs and gives them the same background image */ .your-block { display: block; float: left; width: 250px; height: 400px; background: url("youe-image-url.png"); margin: 15px; padding: 0; } /* adds some space around the writing so it doesn't sit on the top */ .left-block p { padding: 35px; }

    just have to change the height and width of your block to match your background image.
    and play around with the padding till your text sits where you want it too.

    I hope this helps

    I stumbled accross this little gem:

    http://na.isobar.com/standards/

    It is basically the coding practices guidelines of a professional agency. There is so much info in here and obviously a lot of hours of experience behind it all. I think coding standards make everybody's life a bit easier and plus we all know Google likes good code! just thought i would share....

    is it just temporary, only so he can see your work? i have ghetto hosted a few sites using dropbox before. I just place my directory that contains index.html and my CSS images etc and create a public link of the index.html. which generates a long URL but whoever i send it to can view it and interact with the site. If this sounds like something you want to do and are confused what i mean, just let me know

    This! But as Tom Cash said it really does depend on the size of the business and the sort of budgets available.

    For instance. If a client wants a site doing but they really only have a small budget then I make them aware of what that budget gets them. It gets them me being jack of all trades master of none. However if the budget allows, I will call in my collection of illustrators, photographers etc

    It depends on the business.

    This isn't an uncommon layout in larger businesses:

    A designer will deliver the interfaces only in PSD format.
    A UI/UX developer will do the CSS, HTML, JavaScript and any client-side sort've interface programming.
    A developer will do all the server side functionality, such as the PHP/ASP, MySQL.
    A copywriter will do all the text and may work with an SEO.

    Bigger businesses sometimes have a person specifically dedicated to database design too.

    Smaller businesses sometimes have their designer do the PSD, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

    It is also not uncommon for an SEO to write the copy.

    It really does depend...

    If you don't mind me asking - why do you ask? Perhaps we could answer your question more specifically if we knew.
