Where can I find a process concept designer?
I would have thought your designer would be involved, who understands the process best? Lock that person and the designer together in a room?

Having trouble implementing a blog into website
You could install wordpress (sorry i dont know a lot about blogger so this may not be possible with it) and point your menu at it. you'd have to play around to customise it to look the same though. You could also just create a blog in Wordpress for instance and then make custom pages for your existing site, this would involve learning Wordpress though. Hope this helps

Opinion needed and suggestions
Nice site, a footer would tie it all together nicely.

Website builder seeking review
Dude I've got to agree with rallport here, there are so many things wrong about the design that it would take ages to point them all out, (leaving aside the issue of whether you have actually "built it" by using a website builder) you need to read a few books and check out a few site galleries and see what modern web design looks like before you can credibly offer web design as a service.

Thoughts on website redesign...
Hi Mike, thanks for the thoughts, I need to root out that smiley face you're right and I'll amend the cookie notifer to be shorter and more transparent. I like the idea of some hover effects over the menu items, I'll look into this. What makes you think the footer is not finished?

Building a site where a user can build a sort of simple profile.
Hi there, I think this is the right section as presumably this kind of thing involves writing a profile to a database which is retrieved on login but here goes... For a personal project I want to build a site where a user can log in and choose from lots of items and say "yes I have done this one and done that one etc" they would also be able to say I want to do this one or whatever. Now, my question is this. How do I go about learning how to do this? Do I have to learn SQL or some other scary server side stuff? I'm not asking for someone to actually show me on here (!), just some good resources or general advice about what to use (or even, dare I even dream it, an existing plugin). I've searched on the web but not come up with much, apart from simple login plugins. It feels like there is a simple name for it that I may be missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How do you work when making changes to a clients WP theme?
Ha ha thanks for the replies, especially the advice on not delivering until I've been paid! So I'm hearing that you'd get a copy of their database and the theme. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't being a doofus, thanks again.

How do you work when making changes to a clients WP theme?
I'm a freelance and have been asked to quote for a WP modification, I was wondering how everyone works when faced with making some changes to a clients Wordpress theme. Do you get a copy of the database and theme from the client and edit locally then upload? On the other hand If i just get the ftp details and edit on the server then that will obviously cause issues for his customers while I'm buggering about. Feels like I might be missing a simpler way somewhere, anyone care to enlighten me?

Thanks for the response, I think I'll use a local hosting provider (found a nice looking one in sheffield) from now on then, I wasn't aware of these factors so thanks for the advice. Every day is a school day.
