The bar
I just dont like the taste or feel of tea of coffee. Some people don't like brussel sprouts either (I love them though!) Making me hungry but still ages till I eat, over an hour till home time, then a run when I get home, then food. Need to get back to designing or I won't get the visual done in time

Open office vs MS Office
I prefer MS Office, mainly cause it looks funky. I use open office at work though, and it does everything fine, unless u get an .docx file. I like the MS templates though

The bar
It's past lunch time so it's ok to have a beer I'm working on two projects, neither of them particulary interesting or hard. Need to learn how to create a members only area and how that's managed though which will be good. I'm feeling a bit sore today as I had a weekend of playing Ice Hockey with my old University team. I'm sad now though cause I can't play with them again, as you can only play upto the year after, and I also was one of the founding members. I went out with a bang though, in our final game in my last shift I said to myself, put everything in, this IS the last time i'll be playing. 20 seconds after this, the other winger went up the wing, passed across so the puck was towards the front of the net, I got there just in time, took one shot, the goalie saved it, but it bounced towards me, I took a diving shot to reach the puck and it slid in behind him, as I watched in mid-air. As soon as the ref pointed to the goal indicating a goal, I was screaming with joy as I slide along the ice. I hardly EVER score, so it was even sweeter!

No, But one of my friends pissed in the corner of the room in a friends house, and then wouldn't believe any of us that he did when we woke him up! Have you ever been drunk on a school trip and thrown up in the sink.

Rounded Corner Tab Menu
Hey all, I am trying to make a rounded corner menu, but it's not quite working right. CSS: #nav { } #nav li { display:inline; background:url(images/nav-right.gif) top right blue no-repeat; padding: 5px 5px 5px 0px;} #nav li a { font-size:120%; color:#006633; text-decoration:none; background: url(images/nav-left.gif) top left transparent no-repeat; padding: 5px 0 0 5px; } #nav ul { list-style:none; margin:0 0 0 20px; } XHTML: <div id="nav"> <ul> <li class="active"><a href="index.html">Home</a></li> <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li> </ul> </div> URL: http://dev.currie.me.uk/tania-crosse/ Basicly it is sort of working, but i'm not sure if its the right way. The nav li a has the nav-left.gif which is the thin left corner and side. The nav li has the nav-right.gif which has the right side and a long body so it can expand with the menu. Unfortunatly it doesnt quite match up, especially when text is enlarged to a bigger size. Is there a better way to achieve this effect? Thanks!

What Are You Studying/working As?
I work as a web designer for a medium sided company (there's about 17 of us in total, including support, developers and designers etc) We work mainly on ecommerce sites, but as i'm new (about 5 months now I think) i've mainly just been coding other peoples designs into standard CMS sites. I'm learning lots about CSS and designing, and must have improved so much since starting.

Accessibility Warnings
Hi, I am trying to make a site that has little or no accessibility warnings at level 3. When I check this using HTML tidy I am currently getting these warnings. I am not sure how to get rid of the remaining ones. The errors are: [6.1.1.1]style sheets require testing (link) [12.1.1.1]link text not meaningful [2.1.1.1]ensure information not converyed through colour alone [1.1.2.1]<img> missing 'longdesc' and d-link They seem just link information rather than errors, but I need to get rid of them. Any ideas? Thanks!

The Next Rage...
If i knew what the new rage would be, i'd be making sure I was a part of it and make money Whatever it will be, it will be simple and easy to use, cause it will need to attract lots of people to become a rage.

Trying To Brainstorm!
I like that idea, maybe it could be simpler, rather than comparing foods, maybe be able to input what you have eaten and how many calories, and how much exercise you have done etc, and your weight. That would be a useful tool i'd use if it was free/
