I looked in to hosting with these bud. I thought the reviews were good until someone mentioned here that they were sponsored reviews. I then read some bad reviews as well but I think you always get a few bad reviews with big companies.

Yeah, did read some and they don't seem brilliant. I might keep it local and go with one of the hosts here. As it is my first site I want to keep it under £5 a month really.

Hello, as a new web desiger/developer I need some hosting in order to practice some PHP and get my first website live. I have done quite abit of research and Host Papa seem brilliant. They get 9.5/10 in total in most reviews if not higher and price seems ok. Any recomendations/reviews? EDIT: Just seen ipage which also look brilliant ~Thanks

May be check your local library bud. I know web books can be pretty expensive. Not sure if they would do CSS3 though as its pretty new but its still worth a try. ~All the best with learning

Ok bud, well yeah the computer is on the carpet so could be a big problem. I try to tell her but shes like "well I cant put it anywhere else, mehhh" ,lol EDIT: Just give it a clean so will see if its fixed the problem. There was quite a bit of dust coming out of the PSU but not much around the other components.

Will take it apart later bud and have a look. I am quite familiar with hardware / computers just don't want to tell my mum to buy a new mobo and its not that, lol. (need to be 100% sure)

Around about a 40 minutes - 1 hour. Just been told this morning that sometimes if there are multiple tabs open on firefox it will alert saying "do you want to save tabs as it will turn off" (something along them lines)

Hello, theres a desktop at my house which keeps turning itself off. The screen goes black but either the cpu/psu is still spinning (making a noise) and then goes off a few seconds after the screen has gone black. Im thinking its the motherboard. Anyone else got views?

Silly me, between the "home,contact us,online shop" etc I made a star to seperate them but as I did it in photoshop and imported that needed an alt tag as well Thanks for your help

Thanks bud. My mum has original pictures on another computer taken with a camera unlike the pictures I used which were already re-sized for a previous website. I will try and get the images off her other computer as they will be of a higher resolution

Hello, im not sure if this is the right section of the forum to post but im sure a mod will move it if it isn't. Im doing the finishing touches to a website ive just created and I ran the code through a W3C validator. It comes up with a few errors and most of them are about the "alt tags".
