Evening everyone, I wonder if I could pick someone's brains please? I want to create a "contact us" page on a website where the user can complete a form and submit it. I would then like the details of the form to be emailed to me but not through a mailto: where its required for the user to have a mail client. I'm sure I need something on my server to make this all come together but can't find a guide to help me figure it out. I'm hosted with 1&1 so hope the functionality is there to support what I want to do. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers James

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone uses any Iphone apps for web design? I have a couple of things ... WhatTheFont - take a picture of a font - and it will tell you what its called. Adobe Ideas Dropbox Evernote. I think there is a wordpress application too - but i've not looked at that one yet. Cheers James

there is an iphone app that can tell you what font it is by taking a photo. It's called "WhatsTheFont"

Not sure about off-putting but it's very much in your face when you open the page. Might not be to everyone's likening. But I understand about the branding - that's obviously very important. I've look at the website in firefox, IE7 and Chrome. They load on all and look the same.... Only thing i noticed that in Chrome the "Submit Form" button is cut in half. Hello everyone! Thought I'd open a topic about the world cup! I'll start off by asking "Do you think Capello has named the best squad?" Personally I think Walcott should be on the plane - I know he's not great at the final ball - but would be great to bring on towards the end of a game to run at the defenders and cause some problems. Also "who do you think will win the competition?" I'd like to see England do it of course but I think we rely too much on Rooney. And when he is having an off game - England have an off game. So my money would be on (other than England) Spain.

Hi Sturg_Clan, Personally i'm not a lover of the colour... in my browser I have to scroll to the right to see the listed bullets down the side.. you need to try and fit it in a width of about 800 pixels as this would fit in most users screens. Your bulk of text towards the end of the page could do with having some space so it dosn't hug the edge of the box. I know I'm just being picky but in your image of the boy down the left - when the images end you can just see the top of his hair where it has been cropped? Also there is a little black dot in your header (above the "r"). I'm no way an expert but thought i'd pass on my opinion I'm sure once you have made a couple of changes it will look a lot better.

Hi everyone, I wonder if anyone would be able to help me. I am starting to design a website for a friend of the family. Good start to build my portfolio! They have asked for a image carousel on the home page which when clicked would just link to the gallery page. I'm very new to all this and wondered if I need to jump into flash to try and make something (gulp) or if anyone had any other suggestions - they would be very welcome! Cheers James
