Well although I personally have not gone through such situation, but looking at your scenario there are several things that IMHO do not qualify for refund with the general web hosting company rule. Have no personal intention to create any kind of argument, but would just like to share my views..! You mentioned you signed up with some offer which included free months. If you are looking to get a refund for those free months or for ssl or domain names, I believe its completely unethical for one to request such refund. Being in web hosting industry since so many years, and everyone is aware about products such as domain names, SSL certificates are non-refundable. You also mentioned about the tos, which I believe every company (web hosting or anyone else) has a right to change their tos as and when required. Atleast I have observed that tos come included with a clause which ways that the TOS rules can be changed anytime. It would be a different story if no such thing is mentioned.

Thats a common thing with companies that oversell and Godaddy is famous for their overselling. How about going for a managed vps dedicated server? That way you wont need to bother for your server related support..

not sure why you didnt go for money back guarantee request if you do not need the hosting package, instead of selling it. Or is it so that your host does not offer money back guarantee request?

You will most likely get unlimited POP3 email accounts with your web hosting provider (unless its a very uncommon webhost). The email accounts and services should most likely be included free of charge with your web hosting services. Thats how the web hosting industry works. However, yes, you will need to make a decision to choose the geographical location of your server. For eg, if you expect your clients and visitors to be from UK, then it is always wise and recommended to go for a webhost who has its servers in UK. Similarly if you expect the visitors to be from US, then go for a webhost having its servers in US. This way your website will give the best latency for your websites to your visitors and also give you SEO benefit.

Just wish to confirm, is it the entire server being hacked, or your particular websites? If its entire server being hacked, chances are, server has been compromised and needs attention. If it just your websites being hacked, then it is probably because of some vulneribility with the cms that you are using. Though you mentioned, you have applied patches etc.. I would also suggest you to check that no files or folders exist with 777 permissions.

Ideally, I would recommend you to go for a managed cpanel vps so that you get your own server resources and this will be beneficial when speaking in long terms and future growth. Now, there are a couple of options, I would like to suggest.. You can either go for a shared hosting plan for now and later as your requirements demand more, upgrade to a vps. I would suggest to choose a company that offers flexible upgrade options in terms of hosting . That way, that company shall help you to migrate your data from shared to vps. As mentioned above, you might need data migration during the upgrade. This is the only negative thing that I can think of int his case. Other option, go with a vps directly from day 1, and you might not need to upgrade for quite a few years, unless your website traffic increase beyond your expectations.

You can host all wordpress under one account by having the other additional domains added as addon domain. That way, you will have just one control panel (Cpanel) and one primary domain, and unlimited addon domains. Each addon domain will behave as an independant domain on web, and you can have all 25 websites added as addon domain with wordpress blogs. The only concern here is, space used by all domains, will be counted as used by one account. So make sure you choose a plan with enough disk space to accomodate all your 25 wordpress domains and their contents. Other option is, if you wish to have an indepedant control panel for each of your domains, then go for a reseller hosting plan. That way you will get access to reseller WHM and from there you can create independant cpanel accounts for your required number of domains. Further by logging to individual cpanel, you will be able to install and configure wordpress on each of them. Here, the difference is, space used by all individual cpanel accounts will be calculated against your reseller account available disk space. So say if you buy a reseller account that has 16GB of disk space. That means, you can create as many individual cpanel accounts as long as all of them do not combine to 16GB of disk space. Not sure if Godaddy offer any moneyback guarantee for hosting. If they do, you can always cancel and get your money back.. Godaddy uses custom control panel and it may be a headache later to migrate to another host who uses cpanel.. especially in terms of migrating your email accounts.

Unless your clients company has a registered trademark and the domain holds the trademark identity, your client wont be able to get the domain with any legal action. So better have your client to negotiate now with the existing domain registrar and purchase the domain for the demanded price.

If the website is build in asp or asp.net, it will need to be hosted on a Windows server with IIS. However, your website seems to be hosted on a Linux server. Not sure if its apache server as Webserverx is hiding the information about the webserver in place.. But which ever web server it is, it does not support asp or asp.net.

Perhaps I didnt get you properly.. Do you mean you need websites that will showcase your websites? Showcase for what? For selling them or for earning from them?

But I doubt if you have good latency to your websites since both Hostpapa and Justhost have their servers in US and not in UK.

He is right there... if its just for testing, you can always build your own LAMP / WAMP server and test your applications.. Yes to make them globally published, you will need to host.. And if a free host allows your application scripts, you are done..
