Seeing as im going round cold calling, i thought it might have been a good idea to ask some statistics from you guys. Say for example, does anybody have an percentages on companies they have made websites for that noticed a percentage increase after investing in an SEO'd site? stuff like that. Wasnt sure where to put this topic so please move if its in a silly place :S

So i recently got my freelancing site finished and got my business cards made, i have got a couple of clients on the go now, but want to get some more. Yesterday i did some cold calling around my area, just going into the shops, dressed smart, business cards and information at hand. It was good fun, but i'm guessing not much will come of all the time i spent out walking from place to place. I'm asking you guys, what other techniques did you use when you first started up to get some work in? thanks

Thanks you i actually validated it last night and every page was w3c validated, uploaded it but it hasn't changed and the files didnt save :S . So tomorrow morning im going to have to do it again lol. mainly alt tags were causing the issue and not much else that required a lot of work so im not too stressed about sorting it

lol when i bought my hosting package i couldn't upload anything, nothing worked i rung them like 6 times to sort it and it finally got sorted after 5 hours of stress lol.

i dont think the contact form is supported by php5. has php 5 posed a propblem for older contact forms?

Hi guys, bought a new hosting server the other day, it supports php5 and its enabled on my server but for some reason my contact forms are not working when you fill the form in and click send, it gives me the error 500 message. any advice on what might be wrong here? PS i know the script works, believe me!
