  1. Can you post your HTML code? Is the return_url set correctly? Thanks
  2. What code are you using for the button? And could you post or PM me a link? I have experience with PayPal IPN & buttons.
  3. Alternatively, you could create an array of queries: <?php $q[] = "INSERT INTO ....": $q[] = "UPDATE ..."; // Loop through all queries foreach($q as $iq){ $sql->query($iq); }?>
  4. I'm not quite sure what you mean, but have you tried order by DESC?
  5. I can't see the problem, but I'd suggest you upgrade to ReCaptcha or an alternative. Captcha has been broken and doesn't not guard against spam anymore. ReCaptcha has an easy to use Class already made on their website. An alternative could be a Question/Answer challenge (eg, "What colour is the sky?" or "What is this website's name?").
  6. First rule: Never discuss unregistered domains on the internet. Someone might register it before you I think it's pretty good. You may want to register mishmash aswell, for spelling problems.

That's nice, but nobody would pay that much for an editor.

Try the new CKEditor at www.ckeditor.com. I use it for my CMS, and it works fine. Uses the latest standards.
  9. Hi, I would definitely style your new design with http://www.brynlabourclub.com/.'>http://www.brynlabourclub.com/. Your current site's header being bright with the rest dark looks a bit odd, IMO. The http://www.brynlabourclub.com/ design is great, so well done on that
  10. I prefer the second one, but I've got a few tips. - replace Times New Roman. It just doesn't look right on ANY website. - get rid of the whitespace - make everything the same length - your code doesn't define the Div's in the CSS. It just styles it from there. Big no no! Hope this helps!
  11. Hi Martin, Expression Engine seems a bit too much for a small site. I presume it is a sports team? If so, I'm currently developing a CMS specifically for clubs, which has some of the features you've asked for. If you want, I can set you up on a beta trial, and add the features you required? Let me know, Peter
  12. Your database would be huge, so you would need to make sure you optimize it pretty well. Eg, don't have multiple of the same data, and only store the user name / personal details once.
  13. What do you mean by "free in the future"? I'm not helping with a script for free, for your own person use only.
  14. I'd be interested on the forum script, but only if I could be guaranteed it would be a free script.
  15. Lol. PHP isn't going anywhere any time soon.
  16. Hello, I would be able to offer reliable hosting on my Direct Admin (www.directadmin.com) server, located in the Gigenet Datacenter, US. If you want, shoot me a PM or email me (contact @ rydgroup .net) and we can work something out. Peter
  17. As far as I am aware, there is no replacement for iframes/frames. You can still use them, but it is not suggested. There's always <?php include("location.php"); ?> , but I don't know if that would work with PDF's
  18. I don't have a portfolio because the only site I've ever done isn't exactly great. It uses no images and could do with work. I'm a PHP coder first, and I'm currently coding a CMS (see my thread in the CMS section)
  19. And, it looks hard to read if it's smaller.
  20. I'm not sure if I understand properly, but from what I get, you dont' want to show something until a user clicks to show it? This is a little outdated and untested (please test it first). Add in <head> var ie = (document.all) ? true : false; function hideID(objID){ var element = (ie) ? document.all(objID) : document.getElementById(objID); element.style.display="none" } function showID(objID){ var element = (ie) ? document.all(objID) : document.getElementById(objID); element.style.display="block" } And, to show your content: <div id="ONE" style="display:none;"></div> <div id="TWO" style="display:none;"></div> <button onClick="hideID('TWO');showID('ONE');">SHOW ONE</button> <button onClick="hideID('ONE');showID('TWO');">SHOW TWO</button> Sorry if it isn't what you wanted. I'm tired
  21. Hi all, I'm in the process of coding a custom CMS, which I plan to release free or for a small fee. What features does a simple one need? I currently have: - pages - news - paid-members area - membership - easy templating (it replaces {content} in the template with the content, etc) - edit template blocks from acp - SEO urls (/page/PageName, /page/News/NewsID, /page/Members/PremiumID) - WYIWYG editor (CKEditor 3 - uses standards) What else would be needed for a simple CMS? I'm not going to go to the lengths of the likes of ExpressEngine, obviously. Any ideas will be considered.
  22. SPL (proper football!) started today, with the champions (Rangers) winning 4-1
  23. Hello everyone, I'm Peter and I'm new here. I'm about to start learning design (GIMP and Photoshop) and I know a lot of XHTML/CSS. See you all
