which design?

Featured Replies

after a lot of critiscism of my last "design" i have came up with 2 designs, but which is better?

www.garethgillman.co.uk/beta / www.garethgillman.co.uk/beta/index2.html

i like the second one more but the first one suits more of an older looking site

thanks (and yes my ps skills suck)

I prefer the second one, but I've got a few tips.

- replace Times New Roman. It just doesn't look right on ANY website.

- get rid of the whitespace

- make everything the same length

- your code doesn't define the Div's in the CSS. It just styles it from there. Big no no!

Hope this helps!

i haven't played around with the fonts yet so will definately use something else

whitespace will be gone

ah you mean the content ? I went for the slimmer middle to highlight it more but will make it the same length

what do you mean? The divs are named in the html, and the styling comes from the css,
