Can anyone recommend a good php book for beginers that maybe teaches you step by step and gets you creating apps or programmes? I'm a complete beginner here so something simple step by step would be good.

Nope they've put in alcaim to paypal saying I'm sellin copyright content to them, I've spent the best part of two days changing all their needs, and they were rude and abusive. He's left a message on the ''looking for hire section'' I'd advise anyone to stay well clear!

Urgh! I've had possibly the worst client ever today, I've spent the day editing a tamplate to their every need, every last deatil. Removed forum peices, replaced and all sorts, I've had to change the colour scheme three times as they couldn't decide .. then they had the cheek to say I was being lazy as I was getting annoyed with the constant request! Such a hard game

Ok I'm in desperate need of a new laptop and am still deciding on which one to go for, as normal I keep hearing about macs so have been considering this for a while. But I've always used windows is it hard to adjust to what I'm so used to? and will I be missing out getting mac with windows 7 out (it may not be too bad!). This is going to be my main workhorse so it needs to be suitable and I don't have bundles of cash to throw at it so these are my choices. Mac book Pro Sony I'm leaning a little more towars the sony as its a bigger screen and cheaper.

That website looks like it fell out of the 90's it's an awful design with code to match. I can't comment on the content as I can only read english. But if something like that is your competition then you have little worry!

I used wordpress to add a blog to my website after it was orinaly made and it wasn't awfully hard actually. But if your looking for something more simple I guess something like cutenews would do the job.

Basically try and make your website organised and the pages easily accessable to people who want to view them. Don't make your navigation so complex it leaves the user confused.

Actaully I think I'd agree with EvSoul here, you need a little more space between your 3 colum text areas.

Your supposed to put it above <body> not the </body> closing tag.

I dont think the keyboard image and font does you any favours it has an amature look about it. Maybe search fro a vector keyboard image or something to use?

I didn't know where to look to be honest seems content was being thrown at me in every direction! Try using a little more white space to break things up. Your also missing the all important meta tags.

Yeah it's annoying being your own worse critic at times. I think this might be a good option though actually. As most like my old I think I may stick with it until something better pops into my head. Thank for the advice people

Hello, I'm just after peoples general opinion here really. I'm starting to get very bored and thinking of re-designing my website, but obviously I don't want to lower the standards it has to better! I was just wondering what people thought of what I've come up with so far and any advice on what to change/tweak? Or even if it's not worth going ahead with!
