The site is for a new online drama that will be showing on UK TV soon also.... Casting is underway atm, and filming will commence shortly. Summary: The EndZ is a tenacious portrayal of life on the streets of Manchester. Its called a mailing list.... Try looking at phpList which is a free open source mailing list manager

Perch (its just like cushycms but theres a one-time fee of either £25 or £40)... The difference being in that you host it on your server (rather than having to go to cushycms.com everytime you want to edit the site)

Yes, would definatly reccomend wordpress - specially as your a media student and its all about communities / viral media. Wordpress is at the centre of all of this viral media.

From memory Lynda is stupidly expensive... Get nettuts / psdtuts... When you get signup to one you get the whole range of tuts things in there networks.... The link is in my signature and I genuinely would say it is worth signing up for.... Its $9 a month which is considerably cheaper than lynda from memory and you also get resources that can be used in commercial projects with this too.

Wordpress + BBpress? Super easy to use and link with each other seamlessly... Only thing I would say is that BBpress is not your typical forum software...
