Extend Header BG Past Wrapper
I have a bit of a problem trying to code part of a design. If you look at the picture attached, you'll see that I'm trying to extend the header background all the way to the edge of the browser window. The site is centered using a wrapper, so basically, the background of the header needs to extend to the left, outside of the wrapper. Any suggestions on the best way to achieve this?

Logo Help
Logo design isn't my strong point but I'm trying to come up with something for a possible web design business. I have a couple of different names and target audiences so it might not get used but at least it's a bit of practice Anyway, the name I'm playing around with atm is 'Men in Monkey Suits'. The site would be quirky and fun and we would focus mostly on great customer service. This is what I've got so far. I'm not really happy with any of them so any help would be great.

Football Clip Site
I was thinking of FootyTube but after looking a bit more closely, I've realised it's just a search engine. I guess there are three options. Find some extra millions down the back of the sofa, host them and take them down if asked to or use Youtube or similiar. None sound particularly appealing, so it might be the hidden fourth option. None of the above

Football Clip Site
I suspected as much. How do sites get away with though? Upload and only take down if they get a letter/email? Upload to Youtube and hope it doesn't get taken down?

Need some advice about designing a website for an artist
Sorry, I don't. I'd create my own though to be honest. It's not all that difficult but you'll want to find a decent tutorial for it. I've not used it but something like this would be a good place to start.

Need some advice about designing a website for an artist
Joomla is probably the way to go then simply because of the number of extensions available. As I said, I'm almost certain there are extensions which will do everything you need. The social profile can be done with Community Builder (assuming, it's still going). All the other stuff you could probably do with the out of the box version of Joomla (except, maybe for comments). I'm not sure about the commercial stuff because I've never looked into it but there are extensions available to do it. Your problem will be that you're almost certainly going to have to delve into some PHP code at some point.

Football Clip Site
I have a fairly good idea for a blog but it would involve showing clips of football/soccer matches. Now, the biggest problem I have is with the legality of doing so. As far as I know, Youtube is pretty active in taking down football videos (probably due to TV networks?) so I'd probably have to host them myself. The clips would be my own recordings from TV. It's my suspicion that I wouldn't get away with it (if the site ever got big, that is). Anyone got any idea where I would stand?

Need some advice about designing a website for an artist
It's been a while since I used it but I think it will, not right out of the box though. What's your coding knowledge like? If you're going to code it yourself then I'd focus on getting a CMS which suits you, then adding the functionality after. If you go down that route, I'd suggest Wordpress as it's very easy to develop plug-ins for.

You could do it easily with Joomla, even if you don't know how to code, I'm pretty sure you could do it all with plug-ins. I think most CMS' will do what you need, I'd put it more down to the developers experience. Are you the one creating it?

Comments?
Yeah, also took an age to load for me too. Obviously English isn't your first language so you might want to get someone to look over your text.

Wordpress linking between pages.
What local server are you using? You'll probably just need to enable mod_rewrite. If you're using WAMP, left-click the icon in the system tray then go to Apache->Apache Module and make sure rewrite_module has a tick next to it.

Where to put extra text on a logo...
You've got two very different logos here so my first bit of advice would be to take a step back and think about what it is that you want to portray. Who is your target audience? What kind of designs do you make? What do you want potential clients to think about you?

IE6 Transparency
I did try with 8-bit but like you said, the quality just isn't good enough. I did also think about doing a separate stylesheet for IE. I think that's probably the route I'm going to take.

What music do you listen to when designing?
I have such a broad taste that it differs. A lot. Recently it's been Arcade Fire but I've also played a lot of Atmosphere as well. There are some times when I'm struggling to code something that it just has to go off though.

My business website - feedback request.
Sorry, yeah that did happen. What I mean by feedback is a hover state for the button. I actually clicked it without wanting to because I was half expecting it not to work due to the lack of a hover. If not a hover state, it should at least have a pointer when you hover

Need Website Review
Auto playing music is a no-no in my book. At least give me the chance to switch it off.

My business website - feedback request.
Apologies, I submitted your form with some gibberish in it by accident. Anyway, I'd put some sort of feedback on the 'Get A Quote' button.

Site Issues, Help Plz
You can read about resets here. They basically set a default value to everything so the defaults are consistent across browsers. Eric Meyer's reset is a good example.

IE6 Transparency
I would probably say not but I'd like to and I'd rather know how to deal with I6 problems that not. I know support for it is getting lower and lower but I feel it's something that I should know just in case.

IE6 Transparency
What's the best way to getting around the problem that ie6 has with not displaying transparency on PNGs? I've Googled this and found some hacks but I'm wondering if there is a semantically correct way of achieving it.
