I have created "actus HTML 3D" and I would like to have your comments about it.

Ummm....

Whilst it's very clever I'm not really sure it's got many practical applications. The UX is very confusing as it's not clear how is it supposed to work. Especially on a touch screen.

I keep trying to click on the 'more' link and nothing happens.

And it's very offputting the way everything keeps moving.

Sorry to be so negative but I can't think of how I could use this on a website.

 

 

Its true that its not practical at all on a touch screen. I have to say that its mostly an experiment and I intend to develop some controls for navigation on touch screens. As for the navigation on the desktop, clicking on certain items will make the camera move to them, while clicking on buttons can move the view to a desired position. I wonder why the "more" button is not working for you.  I am testing it and seems ok. If you want, you can try to "zoom out" with the mousewheel and see where the more button is supposed to send you. Its the guide presented in a 3D view. That might be an answer for a possible use.

Zooming with the mouse wheel is counter intuitive. Its normal use is to scroll up and down a webpage.

I did eventually manage to zoom in enough to get a pointy finger on the more button but it then went all awry.

It's almost impossible to get from one page to the next. Everything keeps moving and zooming and you can't just click on the page you want to look at.

So for me that's the main issue. You have to learn how to use the site and I'm not sure how many people will take the time to do that.
