Unable to load a website

Featured Replies

Anybody able to load http://www.ponymaloney.com/? I have a potential client asking me to look at an issue with the site but I can't even load it. It did load in briefly the first time I accessed it, but ever since it hasn't opened?

It does only appear to be an issue on my network as if I browse via 3g it loads fine and others have said it loads fine (including the client!).

I have cleared the cache, history etc and reset the router.

I am in a serviced office block, so there is a master router (somewhere), could that be blocking access?

Loads on my iphone, although it looks to me as if there is no styling

Have you tried a different browser?

Yeah, tried a range of browsers.

Like I say, seems to load OK on 3g, or another network, just the office says no!

I did notice (albeit briefly) there was no styling. That's the issue the client is having.

It's 100% fine on ipad

Must be a network issue, if it's not that if you don't mind losing router settings you could reset it and see.

I can't get access to the buildings router (it controls the whole block of offices), but have reset my own individual one that I run the wireless through.

Hmm, still not loading at all. Got to be beiing blocked by the network somewhere.

got to run (client meeting) but cheers for the help :)

Works fine for me.

Have you got a dedicated server you can remote into? You could always try opening it on a browser on the box.

looks ok for me but the text needs more line height and the horse bag photo is out of focus (oh it is in focus but it's resize in the browser so loses detail)

He didn't ask for a critique, just if the site loads or not.

I would imagine that's why the client contacted me, you know, to quote for a new website.....?

Thanks for your wisdom though :clapping:

Sounds DNS related to me..... try setting your computer to use Google's DNS servers instead of your assign ones when you connect to the network.

Google's DNS servers are 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4

(Works fine for me BTW)

sorry roothost. missed that it was a potential site ;) should have known that you would know better :)

Its loading fine on my browser, its looks very less styling right? Do you try loading it with some other networks?
