March 20, 201412 yr Hi web designers! I'm a freelance sound designer.. and was wondering whether sound design is important to you? Perhaps you create your own sounds, don't bother or use various sound libraries. Well, if you are looking for sounds, and you'd like to 'hear' what I can do my material is available online. I create loads of notification and audio logos plus a lot more besides: audiojungle.net/user/sonic-boom/portfolio?ref=sonic-boom pond5.com/video-sound-effects-music-after-effects-photos-illustrations-3d-models/1/artist%3Aagcnf_media.html
March 20, 201412 yr If I was doing something in motion graphics, maybe but sounds within a website are pretty much a 90's thing from what I understand, so no, I would not use sounds for a website project unless it's specifically called for because the client deals with sound in some manor already
March 20, 201412 yr Can't really see myself using these services. In my 10 years doing this, I have only my needed sound once, and free resources was plenty for my needs.
March 21, 201412 yr Author I agree it's something that is going to be site dependent... audio (obviously!) and gaming sites would benefit from sounds... unless they're really annoying. That said, sound designers can be subtle! Honest! Thanks for your replies.
